Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Indira Gandhi International Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Alliance Air.   You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Kempegowda International Airport. Mumbai is not mentioned in the schedules table and you still seem to be adamant in re-adding it. Continue reverting and I will report you to admins.  LeoFrank  Talk 07:39, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Flights to mumbai are starting from 20/05/21 i.e. from tomorrow. Please check full schedule from tomorrow and then if you find iam wrong, then report me. Random Haste (talk) 09:09, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Actually flights to mumbai are operational.Flights are on Mon,Thu,Sat and Sun.Now since tomo is thursday, it is showing effective from 20/05/21. Random Haste (talk) 09:13, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

First, if flights are effective tomorrow, why are you claiming here, the flight is already operational? You have just contradicted your own statement. Also, these search and check type of schedules are not reliable! Show some source that explicitly displays the destination like it is for DEL from BLR.  LeoFrank  Talk 09:47, 19 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Rajiv Gandhi international airport edit

Hi.....just need to clarify......india has opened its international border and most of the filghts are running as per the schedule....filghts to London,Colombo, male,Dubai,Abu Dhabi from hyderabad have started running since August 2021.....then why can't I display those destinations in the table? pls let me know the reason.......thanks Adithya003 (talk) 05:14, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I even checked with the airlines website and searched for the international flights and they're available for booking Adithya003 (talk) 05:16, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hello...I heard that UK and middle eastern countries have started issuing tourist visas to indian travellers and there's only one country that's still not issuing tourist visas...i.e.. USA...since anyway there's no direct flight to USA from HYD....so these destinations can be displayed in the table. Thanks Adithya003 (talk) 06:56, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I've double checked these destinations in the airlines website and news sources available and have attached them as a source along with the name of the destination and I'm pretty sure that most of the destinations which I've added are resumed regular flights but not air bubble flights....yeah there may be some air bubble flights to that respective destinations.....I'll check if that's air bubble or regular flight and remove few of them which have not started regular flights yet Thanks Adithya003 (talk) 07:03, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

All International flights operating in and out of india is under Air bubnle arrangement, Last and final warning to you. If you continue to revert my edits on Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, I will report you to admins to block you permanently from editing. Random Haste (talk) 07:09, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Terminal 1.JPEG edit

A tag has been placed on File:Terminal 1.JPEG requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/bengaluru-airport-starts-exclusive-entry-gate-flyers-only-hand-baggage-100168. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Wikipedia and copyright edit

Hello Random Haste! While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.

  • You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
  • Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
  • We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
  • If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Such a release must be done in a verifiable manner, so that the authority of the person purporting to release the copyright is evidenced. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
  • Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.

It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Whpq (talk) 12:22, 13 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's no original research policy by adding your personal analysis or synthesis into articles, as you did at Kempegowda International Airport, you may be blocked from editing.  LeoFrank  Talk 15:37, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Kempegowda International Airport. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.  LeoFrank  Talk 15:52, 1 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugunthsboa (talkcontribs) 14:21, 23 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

April 2022 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 72 hours for edit warring. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Drmies (talk) 15:27, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

This is out of control. You have reverted, and been reverted by many editors; you've not bothered to discuss the matter on the tal pages including Talk:Cochin_International_Airport#Airlines_and_destinations, you threaten to report other reports but don't follow through, likely because you may know your case isn't very strong. And edit summaries like "Lack of irrelevant sources. Those are indeed booking engins only" are sloppy and unclear. You need to stop edit warring, you need to stop threatening, you need to seek the talk page--you are exhibiting the kind of OWNERSHIP that is inappropriate on a collaborative project. Drmies (talk) 15:31, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Random Haste. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. In reference to your declaration that you work part time at BLR airport, please read the policies linked in this messageDaxServer (t · m · c) 14:58, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Random Haste. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Random Haste. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Random Haste|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. In reference to your declaration that you work part time at BLR airport and my above message, I'm wondering if your Wikipedia editing is being compensated. If so, please declare it per policy. If not, please reply to this message that you are not being paid. Thanks!DaxServer (t · m · c) 15:00, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes, i do. But my contributions are purely source based and are not paid ones. I was adding booking engines as source and we had a little conflict, thats it. Random Haste (talk) 15:33, 15 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Coimbatore International Airport, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Jetstreamer Talk 14:19, 30 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hey Random Haste, the line which has been removed doesn't contribute much to the article, the line was written as BLR code is derived from the city of bangalore, does this have any context?......there is no need of saying that the code was named after it's city in the city's airport page. Chennai International Airport edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Chennai International Airport. — Preceding unsigned

Your financial interests in one airport (BLR) and hence the need to present a specific picture are pure COI. You didnt seem to have problem citing booking engine in april 2022

1.cite a policy where non cited cities in airport destinations specifically are required to be removed
2.Applying your own policies, why have you retained cities in BLR destination without citation?
3.Go take a look at cities added at all airport destinations section.
4.Cite a policy where wikipedia says booking engine sources are invalid for the purpose of destinations section in an airport article — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mugunthsboa (talkcontribs) 14:15, 26 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

June 2022 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating copyright policy by copying text or images into Wikipedia from another source without evidence of permission. Please take this opportunity to ensure that you understand our copyright policy and our policies regarding how to use non-free content.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 06:17, 30 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
In addition to the three warnings above, I also found https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Kempegowda_International_Airport&diff=prev&oldid=1073923199 copied from the source. To be unblocked, you must make an appeal that answers the following questions:
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?
  • Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?
