July 2010 edit

Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Cassidy (rapper). Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. JamesBWatson (talk) 19:52, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to C.A.S.H. (Cass Always Stays Hard). If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice.   — Jeff G. ツ 19:57, 1 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give C.A.S.H. (Cass a Straight Hustla) a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Huey-redemption-cover.jpg edit

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Huey-redemption-cover.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 22:21, 14 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 22:21, 14 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

July 2010 edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In one of your recent edits, you added links to an article which did not add content or meaning, or repeated the same link several times throughout the article. Please see Wikipedia's guideline on links to avoid overlinking. Thank you. Candyo32 (talk) 01:14, 15 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Busta Rhymes, you may be blocked from editing. Red Flag on the Right Side 22:06, 21 July 2010 (UTC)Reply
