Decline edit

Hi, I've declined your submission to Articles for Creation because vast tracts of the article remain unsourced or inadequately sourced, read like original research per WP:NOR, and have a non-neutral tone which is unencyclopedic, per WP:NPOV. About Yuval Avital article for creation
Dear Snowysusan,
once again I reviewed the article about Yuval Avital, took away any non-encyclopedic note and cut it shorter. All the subjects in this text are referenced. However it seems that you are still annoyed by the length of this article. If you wish to take a position not of a reviewer but of an editor, please tell me in your opinion which is the correct number of characters in which Avital's article should be limited, and I will cut it shorter.
Best Regards

Since you contacted me I can perhaps assist with a couple of points, though. In general, you will get further around here by being courteous and genuinely seeking assistance. Also, when you remove the decline boxes from your article before resubmitting it you are depriving the next reviewer with a chance to see if you have improved the article to address the issues and therefore he/she might now be able to accept it. Third, I looked at the history of the article and neither decline (from other editors) referred to the length of the article, they spoke of the tone of the article. They indicated that it appeared too promotional in tone, hence they described it as more like an advertisement. Wikipedia encyclopedia articles should be written from a neutral point of view without adjectives such as outstanding, acclaimed, etc., are words that tend to promote and are a matter of opinion so they should be avoided unless part of a direct quote from a published, reliable source. I see you have taken some of that language out but the reviewer still felt there was too much. You may wish to contact the reviewer who declined your article and politely ask if he could direct you to examples within your article that are of concern or otherwise provide you with further guidance.
