Shevchenko

The deal is still pending the completion of all contract details and a passed physical. Until then, please don't change any of his club details per WP:CRYSTAL. The policy states that we must not make any speculative roster edits. Thanks. --Madchester (talk) 04:36, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Chelsea F.C. Page

edit

Why did you delete the Club Management Section on the page? What exactly is wrong with having club staff listed on the club page? While your at it, you might as well delete the United club offical list and maybe the current coaching staff on the Arsenal page as well. Not forgetting the Liverpool Technical staff section. And I see you also took out the infobox on the Stamford Bridge section. An explanation would be much appreciated Olly150 00:07, 21 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was just trying to advance the Chelsea Page. Ok, I'll conceed the infobox maybe wasn't needed, but we don't even have a list of club coaching staff. If you look at all the other top 4 pages, they all have lists of coaching staff or admin staff etc. I don't see a problem with listing the members of staff that contribute to Chelsea F.C. And why do you decide what's necessary. That is not wikipedia policy. If you have a problem, you go to talk pages, you don't go randomly deleting info. I was trying to increase the information available about the club because that is what editing wikipedia is all about. Increasing information. And please sign your posts in future.   You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Chelsea F.C.. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. If necessary, pursue dispute resolution. Beeblebrox (talk) 20:17, 2 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
