Template:Republic of China infobox edit

Please provide justifications on the template talk page before replacing the map image with the 1947 map. This issue has already been discussed at length before where it was decided to use only the areas where the ROC exercises effective control. -Loren 07:58, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Checked the newly uploaded image, thanks for clarifying the issue. -Loren 08:22, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Re: [1] Sounds good. My apologies for misinterpreting what was happening, unfortunetely we've had some problems concerning the map in the template before. -Loren 08:27, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, having another one of those sleepless nights. We tend to get a lot of traffic here on En, so in general that means a higher number of productive users, but also a higher number of POV pushers and vandals to watch out for. Fortunetely, most of the people here are quite reasonable. Anyhow, welcome to En. I hope you decide to stick around, we can always use another good editor. -Loren 09:12, 20 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Born in Shandong, but username "ROC"? That's a sight you don't see everyday unless you happen to be 90 years old... :D May I ask what exactly you did to my bio? I saw a few sentences being replaced in the edit diff, but both versions before and after were the same... -- Миборовский U|T|C|M|E|Chugoku Banzai! 04:12, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okaay... thanks for the explanation. Roc, huh? Well, I was worried that we seemed to be getting an overwhelming number of Taiwanese people (and sympathisers) and almost no Mainland Chinese... not surprising considering the Great Firewall and that many overseas Chinese are pretty anti-China... Cheers! -- Миборовский U|T|C|M|E|Chugoku Banzai! 04:50, 10 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Race and intelligence edit

If you think the images you’ve added to this article are necessary, could you please participate in its talk page and justify your edits there? It’s generally considered poor conduct to re-add information to an article that’s already been reverted once, while not engaging in any discussion about your edits. --Captain Occam (talk) 01:36, 25 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
