License tagging for Image:Fiona Mckenzie.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Fiona Mckenzie.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Notability of Centrestage Music Theatre

edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Centrestage Music Theatre, by Greenrd, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Centrestage Music Theatre seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Centrestage Music Theatre, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. This bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Centrestage Music Theatre itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. Thanks. --Android Mouse Bot 2 19:58, 27 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Userbox

edit

In response to User talk:Edene#Userbox: Instead of copying the entire code, you can use it by entering the following. This kind of things, whose name usually starts with Template:, are called Template. See the userbox template page and userbox guideline for more detailed description on how to use it. There're some examples as well.

{{Userbox
  |id       = ''JB''
  |id-c     = #FFFFFF
  |id-fc    = #000000
  |id-s     = 20
  |info     = This user '''adores''' [[John Barrowman|<span style="color:#FFF;">John Barrowman</span>]]
  |info-c   = #000000
  |info-fc  = #FFF8E7
  |border-c = #000000
}}

The texts were italicized due to Wikitext. For example, ''Italic text'' will result in Italic text.

To make the userbox available to other users, refer to the userbox guideline again. In my opinion, you should create it under your user space, i.e User:QuietusExtraho/Userbox/John Barrowman or something like that. Then, other users will be able to use it by putting {{User:QuietusExtraho/Userbox/John Barrowman}}. Let me know if you have more questions. :D eDenE 18:17, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

It seems like you didn't really understand what I was saying. You simply need the code above, no HTML. I updated User:QuietusExtraho/John Barrowman, so please take a look ;) Also, you can ask me whatever questions you have, although I won't be able to answer everything, but I'll try my best! Happy editing! eDenE 19:38, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
My userboxes are located at User:Edene/Userboxes, so that I don't have to see a whole list of userboxes when I'm editing my main userpage. Since it's a subpage of my userpage, I can simply put {{/Userboxes}}. In that userbox page, I used a collapsible table. The core structure is:
{| class="collapsible collapsed messagebox small-talk" style="width: 250px; margin: 0 0 2px 10px;"
|-
! style="text-align: left;" | Userbox Group Title
|-
| Place your userboxes here
|}
And... I don't understand your first question :( eDenE 20:36, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
