Question

If, by your own admission, Colbie wrote that article, and the article lists a release date of October 6th, please enlighten me on how exactly that isn't proof that the release date is October 6th. Would love to know how you rationalize that one. 2601:48:8100:5A60:8D2F:5C4:EF34:2607 (talk) 20:15, 30 August 2023 (UTC)

Romy bio page

Hello friend,

You have done a great job on Romy's debut album page. Would you also be interested in creating her bio page? KARANSUTTA (talk) 22:03, 3 September 2023 (UTC)

@KARANSUTTA I thought about throwing one together but it'd be a bit before I get around to it. I've only made a handful of artist pages so far and I'm still at the level where it feels like a big undertaking so I'm not quite ready to just jump into a new one, especially when Bethany Cosentino just got approved two weeks ago and isn't even finished yet. If you or anyone else starts it though, lemme know and I'll see what I can help with. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 04:09, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Also thank you for your kind words about the album article. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 04:09, 4 September 2023 (UTC)
Your response is much appreciated. On a side note, do you happen to have any idea why Lisa Scott Lee's "Never or Now" article has been deleted? If memory serves me well, I am quite sure it was a nicely written and well supported article. KARANSUTTA (talk) 02:11, 6 September 2023 (UTC)
@KARANSUTTA that'd be from a bold redirect by Ss112 in April. I see a lot written there, but no reliable sources, and I'm guessing Ss112 looked for some and didn't find any. If you know of any then feel free to restore it and add the new sources, and maybe it'll stick around this time. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 02:17, 6 September 2023 (UTC)

AfD discussion

Hello. Would you be able to weigh in with your thoughts at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Under the Radar Volume 3? The only comment since August 25 has been an IP editor who doesn't seem to understand notability is not inherited to each of an artist's recordings. Thanks if you can. CS1 warnings

See Category:CS1_maint:_unfit_URL. You can't see them unless you specifically turn them on in your profile which I have. - UtherSRG (talk) 17:47, 7 September 2023 (UTC)

@UtherSRG I've also turned them on and I can see them. But they're notices for tracking categories, not strictly warnings that you've done something wrong, and it doesn't appear to me that I have. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 18:14, 7 September 2023 (UTC)
@UtherSRG it occurs to me now that the documentation does specifically say that load errors such as 404s are not reason to tag as unfit so I was actually mistaken after all. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 07:50, 8 September 2023 (UTC)

100 Gecs stylisation

Hello. Regarding your comments at Talk:100 gecs#Lowercase title vs "stylized as", do you still feel that we should disregard that stylisation in their case, regardless of its being so widespread? (As I note you said you would not be "reverting the move just yet".) I just discovered these were moved and it doesn't feel right we're stylising that band name and their album titles while we try to disregard stylisations elsewhere... Ss112 04:22, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

@Ss112 as I remember, and as my comment says, I wasn't opposed to the move because there was more coverage following the band's lead than I had assumed at first. Looking at the sources now, that still appears to be the case, so I am still not opposed. Might be worth a larger discussion, but I don't think strictly saying "we try to disregard stylisations" should be the end of the conversation. QuietHere (talk | contributions) 05:06, 16 September 2023 (UTC)
Well, it looks like you've been on both sides of the argument—as you were opposed at first and now you say you're not. If it might be worth a larger discussion, maybe you wouldn't filing a requested move to see what users think since you might file a more objective proposition than I would, because I am clearly opposed, and I don't think any other form of seeking opinions (e.g. an RfC) would get enough input. As you say you don't think "we try to disregard stylisations" should be the end of the conversation... Ss112 11:21, 17 September 2023 (UTC)
@Ss112 Again, my initial opposition was based on an assumption which was quickly disproven when I started looking through sources. That opposition was momentary and I am decidedly supportive of the move now. Since you feel so strongly then I don't see why you can't raise the discussion, but I'm not going to. "LGBTQ rights activist" listed at Redirects for discussion

The redirect LGBTQ rights activist has been listed at redirects for discussion to determine whether its use and function meets the redirect guidelines. Anyone, including you, is welcome to comment on this redirect at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 September 18 § LGBT activist until a consensus is reached.

Sorry for nominating so soon after you created the redirect - it’s a coincidence, I promise! There are some similar redirects with different targets, so I opened this discussion to potentially find a common target. All the best, user:A smart kittenmeow 10:48, 18 September 2023 (UTC)

Never Falter Hero Girl moved to draftspace

Thanks for your contributions to Never Falter Hero Girl. Unfortunately, it is not ready for publishing because it needs more sources to establish notability and an unreleased album is going to struggle to pass the WP:GNG criteria - let alone WP:NALBUM - perhaps wait until there is a chart placement, critical reception or other coverage and then resubmit through the AfC process?. Your article is now a draft where you can improve it undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Alexandermcnabb (talk) 16:10, 28 September 2023 (UTC)
