Lengthy quotes and copyright edit

Hi. I had to remove your additions to the Egyptian Feminist Union article because using since a lengthy quote almost certainly infringes copyright. I'm not sure if the original speech is still under copyright (since that probably depends on Egyptian copyright law) but the translation appears to be from 2021, so it would still be copyright.

When it comes to using copyright material on Wikipedia, it's important that the use be minimal and only included when the precise wording of the source material significantly improves the reader's understanding. In addition, as a tertiary source, lengthy quotes from primary sources are usually not stylistically appropriate for Wikipedia. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 15:57, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Ian,
Thanks for making mw aware of this issue and for correcting it. However, I noticed that the entire section of "Arab Women’s Conference of 1944" was removed. Would it be possible to re-enter the information under the sub-heading titled "Background and Aims" which still includes relevent information about the event, without (I hope) any copyright infringements.
Thank you. Propermk2ny (talk) 21:26, 12 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
