Speedy deletion nomination of Truthco.

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Truthco., requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Guide on PR editing

edit

Hello there. From your username I can tell whether you're an editor for the Truth.co only, or a freelance writer, but you should read our FAQ for organizations before creating a page. In short, your article is deleted/being nominated for deletion because it is written in an advertising tone (advertising is not allowed) and there is no evidence of notability. (See our criteria for notability) I also recommend using the article wizard to create a draft so you have time to work on the article. Thank you. Re:TruthCo. Page

Hello, I'm moving the conversation on my talk page here to make it easier for you to follow. When responding please type in {{ping|Darylgolden}} at the start of your message (this is a line of code that automatically informs me when you've responded). On my talk page, you have written:

Hi there. Would like to edit the page to meet the criteria, but it has been deleted already. Is it possible to undelete so I can edit it? Thanks, Bronagh

I would be willing to email you the deleted page, as I have written it down somewhere before it got deleted. However, there is really nothing worth salvaging from that page, as it is written like an advert and there is no useful encyclopedic content that can be saved. Before I help you create a draft, you need to disclose your conflict of interest with the company on your user page here. After that, I need to verify that Truthco. is notable/significant enough to have a Wikipedia article written about it, because if it is not notable, and you create an article about it, it will just get deleted repeatedly, and it would only waste your own time. So what I need you to do now is:

  1. Click here and in the editing box that appears, type a simple sentence disclosing your conflict of interest with your company, and then save.
  2. Read this and tell me if the company passes the notability criteria. (At bare minimum, 3 reliable, independent and published sources, talking extensively about the company (at least a paragraph, not just a mention of the company's name)) Reliable, independent and published sources refers to news sources, articles in reputable magazines, journals, or books.

Once you have done that, please leave a response below. Thanks! Darylgolden(talk) Ping when replying 01:53, 19 February 2015 (UTC) Thanks Daryl. TruthCo. meets the criteria. So shall I edit the page and add the sources and attempt to repost? bronaghReply
