Mr Men

edit

The twit(s) who are adding the season three rubbish to the Mr Men articles seem to be doing it just to be annoying. It is coming from IP addresses rather than registered users so it would not be easy to block them. Banning is a very serious matter on Wikipedia which is normally reserved for much more serious abuse than this. I will keep an eye on it to see if it gets out of hand again. I have reverted the articles back to before they started messing about to clean up the last little bits of rubbish that were left. This is normally the best way to get rid of vandalism as it is far easier than removing each bit by hand and it ensures that nothing gets missed.

Anyway, thanks for your efforts but here is a quick word of advice on edit summaries: It is best to avoid using any comment in an edit summary that shows that the vandalism is annoying you because that might actually encourage them to do it even more. We need to try not to show that we are annoyed, even when we are. If we treat vandals with polite disdain then they are more likely to get bored and go away. I know it isn't easy. Good luck. --DanielRigal (talk) 19:56, 7 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
