I re-read the Wikipedia 'Conflict of Interest' guidelines. I accept your views. On reflection, I realise that as an acquaintance of Joe Tiernan, I could be considered to have a 'Conflict of Interest'. That is not what I intended. In these circumstances, I accept that the article which I drafted should be deleted ... and I have deleted the content. I am happy to leave the matter to some more independent person to draft an article on Joe Tiernan, if such a person wishes to do so.
