A piece of advice edit

Wikipedia is not for advocacy. I understand what you are trying to do but this is the wrong way to go about it. Creating an account just for promotion of (what many will see as) a political agenda is against our rules.

Like I said I understand what you're doing but you've gone about it wrong. Posts like this might be better at the Gender gap task force rather than on a project about improving articles related to the subject of feminism. WikiProject Feminism is not a forum for raising general issues about feminism & wikipedia it's a discussion page dedicated to posts for improving articles about feminism--Cailil talk 13:28, 27 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Dear Cailil, I agree with you that our feminist political agenda is technically against Wikipedia rules, and due to constant harassment and account/IP banning we have been forced to use multiple IP addresses and accounts, which is also against Wikipedia rules, but I remind you: 1) Wikipedia's rules can evolve, 2) Wikipedia advises you to ignore all rules if your actions are in Wikipedia's best interests and 3) female contributors have been significantly more harshly treated on Wikipedia and we have a moral obligation to try and help stop this abuse. All of us, you included!
  • Dear @Jimmy Wales:, please note that the "official notice" you received from the Church of Siduri has now been retracted. All planned activities for November 5th, inclusive of, but not limited to: 1) a WikiFeminist Fork of Wikipedia, 2) a detailed Misogyny/Persecution report, and 3) the proposed Misogyny/"Hate Crime" lawsuit against the Wikimedia Foundation (WMF), as well as several related projects, have all been put on hold as of October 3rd 2014. I apologize for the confusion regarding these matters and hope the WMF implements effective measures to combat both misogyny and religious persecution on Wikipedia and Commons.
