September 2014 edit

Hello, I'm WikiDan61. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Universidad Empresarial de Costa Rica because it appeared to be promotional. Well it seems your UNDO activity left a lot of non working links Please check that

Actually, that was a bot action that occurred after me. Dead links have been removed. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:33, 29 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

You mention the link for IAU WHED its not there http://www.whed.net/detail_institution.php?id=17738

I guess you should allow this information into the page, its NOT promotional

The WHED link is there: it's listed as:
  • "Business University of Costa Rica". World Higher Education Database. International Association of University. Retrieved 29 September 2014.
Full citations, with titles, publishers, access dates, etc, are preferable to bare URLs, because if the page becomes unavailable in the future, editors might be able to find the page by its title and access date in the Internet Archive. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:43, 29 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Neutrality edit

If you are unable to maintain a neutral point of view regarding this topic, you may find yourself blocked from editing this, or any other article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 04:03, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Neutral?? I really never seen a wiki editor that may post talk such this!! [[1]] Who give you the right to judge if an institution may have several domains??

Actuallay the University runs many national programs outside Costa Rica So, you can find the University in the next sites

www.unem.cr UNEM www.unem.edu.pl UNEM www.unem.edu.uy UNEM www.unem.international UNEM www.unem.edu/internacional/ UNEM

My comment about neutrality had nothing to do with the school's internet sites, but with this series of edits in which you have taken a neutral article about the university and turned it into a blatant advertisement for the university. Wikipedia strives for neutrality, and will not tolerate efforts by its editors to promote any particular subject. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:32, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, Porscheclub. You have new messages at WikiDan61's talk page.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

It seem you forget your previous discriminatory commnets. Furthermore I seen NO promotion on the edition I made after several hours of typing in vain. You also erase the (Infobox university) with NO reason at all, while you allow sevral Universities such [[2]] Talking about neutrality you left here not a good example, with al ldue respect.

I performed a rollback of all of your edits to address the vandalism (WP:SPAM) involved. Such rollbacks are not selective: all edits by the last editor are removed up to the point of the last edit made by a different editor. The material you added is still available in the article's page history. I have restored the infobox and a brief section on the university's history. (We really don't need a paean to Costa Rica as part of the article.) I have not restored the course offerings section that you had added because there appears to be a good deal of controversy over the school's course offerings. Although only accredited for bachelor's and master's degrees in business and accounting, the school appears to offer a wide range of degrees for which it is not accredited. Addition of that material to the article will only draw fire from those factions that already detract from this university. Unless you can provide a valid, external citation (independent of UNEM) that indicates that the school is accredited to offer these degrees, or are willing to have the article state clearly that the school offers degrees for which it is not accredited, best to just leave that information out of the article altogether. Your recent edits edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button (  or  ) located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 14:41, 30 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
