Category:Anti-Semitic people edit

Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly, as you are doing in Category:Anti-Semitic people. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia under the three-revert rule, which states that nobody may revert a single page more than three times in 24 hours. (Note: this also means editing the page to reinsert an old edit. If the effect of your actions is to revert back, it qualifies as a revert.) Thank you. Note: I have protected the page so that the problem can be solved. -- King of 20:02, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP:AIV edit

Please do not use AIV to report something like this. AIV is for obvious vandalism my users only. Instead, please go to WP:RFPP. Thanks. --Pilotguy (roger that) 20:17, 11 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

WP:ANI report edit

Greetings, kindly be aware of this report concerning yourself. (Netscott) 13:40, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, we can't have fair use images on our userpages...please don't put it back up. Thanks.--MONGO 13:46, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Consider yourself officially warned by admins now. You are violating project policy with the image on your user page. Netscott has pointed you several times to the policy of which you are in violation. If you restore it again, you face likely blocking. Netscott was acting in accordance with the project fair Use rules by removing the image. You, however, were not when you erased much of his user page in retaliation. That was vandalism. So please do not do that again either, or you may find yourself blocked for that as well. - TexasAndroid 13:50, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have not taken sides in the external debate on Category:Anti-Semitic people. I have not even read that debate. And I really do not care. What lead up to this is really immaterial. Netscott correctly removed the image from your page. In his edit summary he pointed you to exactly the policy which you were violating. No "discussion" was necessary. The image was improper, and violated policy, and needed to be removed. There was nothing to discuss. It was not vandalism for him to try to uphold project policy. You however had no legitimate justification for blanking his user page, nor for your false vandalism report of him. As for my administrator actions, I saw one user acting to uphold the policys of the project, and another user commiting vandalism against the first user in response. So I warned the user that I saw acting in violation of project policy. It's as simple as that. What lead up to it really does not come into it. - TexasAndroid 14:23, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
I have also now left a note for Netscott, telling him that, while he had policy on his side in this case, he should not have been the one to enforce it on you, given the bad blood between the two of you. - TexasAndroid 14:36, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
There is no "bad blood". Such statements mischaraterize the situation. (Netscott) 14:40, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

AIV edit

No, I'm advising you to keep your disputes with other editors out of WP:AIV, which is a page with a clearly defined function. ЯEDVERS 18:38, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, this is evidently an editorial dispute. Don't try to drag me into it, I'm not interested. ЯEDVERS 18:55, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
No, this remains a dispute between editors. This admin is unwilling to get dragged in. Go elsewhere (someone above suggested WP:RFPP, you can also try mediation) for help. Thanks. ЯEDVERS 18:59, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism edit

Please stop targeting one or more user's pages or talk pages for abuse or insults, unwarranted doctoring or blanking. It can be seen as vandalism and may get you blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Mr. Lefty Talk to me! 18:57, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I wouldn't call what Netscott is doing to your user page vandalism. There is some compelling evidence presented that you are a sockpuppet of that banned user. It would be better for everyone if you could just calmly explain the situation instead of making accusations (assuming you're not SirIsaacBrock), and stop edit warring. Thanks. --Mr. Lefty 19:03, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please stop edit

Please stop vandalizing other editors' user pages. I understand that you may be frustrated at what others have done to your own, and I take that into account, but really you must stop this or I will have to stop you myself.

I'll make sure your own userpage is left alone, too. --Tony Sidaway 19:32, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

I'm not sure what talk page you mean...you'll have to help me by explaining what talk page you are trying to find.--MONGO 21:11, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
