Your article in progress edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Looks like you're having a little trouble with the article you started at Vineland Cemetery. The user who tagged it for various problems did so in good faith, because it's not really ready to be an article yet, and it could be tagged for deletion at any time. It's great that you're willing to contribute an article, but sometimes it can take a while to assemble your references and get the text into shape, particularly when you're a fairly new user.

If you're worried it might get tagged for deletion, or you dislike the maintenance tags that have been attached to it, would you prefer to move it out of the encyclopaedia and into your own user space for now, where you can work on it at your leisure? If you'd like to do this, just leave me a message here or on my talk page and I'll sort it out for you. Regards, Karenjc 18:58, 20 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

May 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Wikipedia. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. JNW (talk) 15:27, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article needs reliable sources, per WP:RELIABLE. JNW (talk) 15:27, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. JNW (talk) 18:19, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop deleting maintenance templates from an article without addressing the issues--it's vandalism. Note that Youtube is not considered a reliable source. Thanks, JNW (talk) 18:19, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to may be considered vandalism. Further edits of this type may result in your being blocked from editing Wikipedia. JNW (talk) 21:10, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for starting this article. Please note that it's not the place to expand on the scout's life; this raises questions of WP:COI, and that you may be closely related to the young man. Also, please improve the article by adding inline citations--see WP:FOOTNOTES--rather than removing the maintenance template. JNW (talk) 21:15, 10 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Concord Cemetery edit

Hi Marshall and welcome to Wikipedia. On Concord Cemetery you left a message stating "PAGE NOT COMPLETE - WORK IN PROGRESS". Rather than writing this there are a number of templates you can use:

  • {{in use|date=June 2012}} which can be used when the article is undergoing a major edit for a short while. That is, while you are actually editing it.
  • {{under construction|date=June 2012}} which can be used when the article is in the middle of an expansion or major revamping. While you are having a break from editing it.

To use these templates copy from above (including the curly brackets) and paste at the top of the article (ensuring the date is still accurate - no need for the number of the day). I've done this to Concord Cemetery as an example for you. These templates just make it clearer and tend to "catch the eye" of someone looking over the page. Leave a message on my talk page if you want any help. Callanecc (talk) 03:43, 13 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
