The item on Parental Alienation in Ireland is out of date and is missing essential information such as the Minister of Justice Plans and opinions on Parental Alienation 30 parliamentary questions asked at the government on how they will recognise and deal with parental alienation - recent situation where the in camera rule was lifted that highlighted court and social services inadequacy in dealing with parental alienation where children were manipulated to fear their non abusive father and the need for reunification services to deal with this awful situation. WHY is WIkipedia allowing this misinformation to continue?

It is an international, not-for-profit corporation. PASG has 800 members – mostly mental health and legal professionals – from 62 countries. PASG is an organization open to anyone who reports an interest in the topic of parental alienation—personally, professionally, or both. Many of its members have wrote books or papers on parental alienation. The PASG website contains many resources on parental alienation including a bibliography and much accredited and peer researched information that promotes and proves this concept, that is contentious to so." Hi Polandersondonegal! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Parental alienation that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. The short answer is; you can't. That's what you get with a web-based encyclopaedia that "anyone can edit". But, I take it you are referring to this edit you made today. It was reverted shortly after with the edit summary; "see talk page". So, I suspect you will find there was a discussion on the talk page regarding the content of your edit and you should find your answers there. If not, then your next step would be to ask the editor that reverted your edit. Frobozz1 is unlikely to be able to help you as they are currently blocked from discussing that topic on Wikipedia indefinitely. - wolf 00:06, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

OK so how do I get this other editor to actually check the information I have put up as the information that is on the article is incorrect - ie 30 not 29 Irish Councils and it is not sited when my version is by a Member of the Irish Government ! Deleted government court case in relation to the issue and a direct quote from an irish government document this is ongoing censorship! You go to the article talk page and discuss it with them. That's what the article talk pages are for. I just looked and I see that they have been trying to engage you in discussion, so it would be best if you would go there now and join in. If you find you can't come to an agreement, then check out your options via dispute resolution. I would caution you against going to individual user pages and seeking allies in any content disputes, that is called canvassing and it's not permitted. Also, please learn to indent your talk page posts (it's easy, just add cumulative colons (:) before each post). And very important; please sign your posts. ...and it seems you found it. A few minor points; always post your comments at the bottom of the thread, not in the middle, (and not in the middle of others editors posts). Always sign at the end of your post, not the beginning, and conversely, if pinging a specific editor, (using, for example, the "{{Yo}}" template, which creates "@username"), always place that at the beginning of your post. You must have both the ping template and your signature added when you save the post, or the ping won't work. Adding one after, or trying to fix one after won't work either. (see Help:Fixing failed pings for more info).

Oh, and don't get to carried away with the indents (ie: getting up to 10 or 12 colons :::::::::::: or more. Before you hit say... 10, it's usually better to start over with the "outdent" template; {{od}}. (I used one on your post @07:43, 18 April 2021, in the "Ireland section" discussion on the Talk:Parental alienation page). After that, you start over with the increasing numbers of colons again, starting at one.

It is so off putting and un user friendly plus their should be an objective person to edit not one who has an agenda to subvert reality what is real not what is effectively censored! Nah, don't give up. The talk page stuff is really not that difficult. As for the article stuff, it's just a content dispute. Keep a level head, keep in mind this is an encyclopaedia, not a forum, or bulletin board or journal, etc. You guys are discussing, which is good. Try to find some middle ground if you can. Don't try to get everything changed at once, work on small things, one at a time. If you get stuck, then go to dispute resolution, and start with something like 3rd Opinion. But don't forget about the Help Desk and the Teahouse, they are both quite helpful.

Also, you could consider being wp:adopted by a wp:mentor, that could be a huge help for you. You would be paired up with an experienced editor who will personally oversee you as you (in general) learn the ropes, and (specifically) deal with your content dispute. There's a lengthy list of people, with at least two dozen of them currently ready and willing to take on a new user and guide them along, sorta' like an apprentice. Anyway, don't quit! Wikipedia needs editors. There's all kinds of things you can try here, just pick one and go for it. - wolf 09:50, 18 April 2021 (UTC)

Is there any point in me editing articles if they are censored? So by blocking me you wil only prove that the editors of this page are biased and do not want the information on this page to be updated and to reflect the issue and how it is not only mainstreaming but is one that is being identified politically, socially and politically as one that needs to reflected on / discussed and addressed especially as it is a child abuse and coercive control issue. It is wrng to censor this issue and by not allowing the public to be properly informed. every addition I put on recently was properly cited and involved either legal decisions - laws or a government minister yet they were deleted. Nevermind the fact that it is misleading and a lie to state that " in 2020, for the first time in a child access case a judge described a parent's actions as "parental alienation" as cases are in camera as BAILLI https://www.bailii.org/cgi-bin/format.cgi?doc=/ie/cases/IEHC/2011/H543.html&query=(Parental)+AND+(Alienation) proves in 2011.

So to anyone who wants to know about Parental Alienation in those countries and many more are left to believe that Parental Alienatin is not a problem or that it dos not exist - how can you remove a biased editor who is misinforming wikipedia users by deleting and omitting useful objective information?

PARENTAL ALIENATION AWARNESS DAY? Can this please be allowed to be entered? April 25 is Parental Alienation Awareness Day (PAAD) in the USA, Canada, Bermuda and many other countries. This awareness day was created as a part of global awareness campaign about parental alienation. Last year it was marked in Ireland by the Roman Catholic Church where it was read out in a homily throughout the 32 Counties of Ireland (North & South). "Next Sunday, April 25th, is the International Parental Alienation Awareness day. This day highlights a particular form of domestic abuse that manifests itself in more subtle ways than physical or sexual violence. Parental alienation is a problem that has garnered increasing coverage by the media in recent times. Polandersondonegal, to answer your question about somebody to help "mediate", you can try one of the methods described here WP:DR. In particular, a request for comment WP:RFC might be a way to go. Honestly I don't think it will be worth your while, because your edits are reverted because they go against multiple policies that have been pointed to you over and over again e.g. WP:RS;WP:RSMED; WP:V; WP:RGW and outside objective editors will tell you exactly the same thing.

But consider this a final warning too. If you again edit this or other article in the way you have been, ignoring again WP's policies and guidelines that have been carefully and patiently explained to you, I will ask for administrative action against you.Slp1 (talk) 22:24, 30 December 2021 (UTC)
