Speedy deletion nomination of Goodtung Entertainment

edit

Hello Pizzaandchips11,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Goodtung Entertainment for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. OGfromtheGut (talk) 02:38, 22 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Goodtung Entertainment, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of I Don't Even Care

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on I Don't Even Care requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on I Don't Even Care requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please use references

edit

Adding references is how we ensure that content is valid. Without references, a reader can not easily validate information and there is no presumption of accuracy. This is covered by the Wikipedia policy of wp:verifiability (WP:V). Please wp:cite your edits with wp:reliable sources. See Help:Referencing for beginners, Help:Citation Style 1 and wp:Inline citations. WP:V is a 'critical' aspect of Wikipedia. You were blocked for 48 hours for not adding references to your additions of information. If you are unwilling to add references, please do not edit on Wikipedia. I and others don't want to follow you around adding references to your unsourced content or removing it and giving you warnings. Also, please read the top of others' talk pages. I had requested that you use wp:ping and you did not. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 20:25, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Also, I just undid a number of your "recorded=" additions here as they were unsourced. Adding "See iTunes page" to the wp:edit summary is not citing a source. Please see Help:referencing for beginners. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 20:32, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

People are willing to help: Ask at the wp:Teahouse for why you are being reverted and how to add citations. Much of these articles are poorly referenced. But, that doesn't exclude for the need for you or I to add references. Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 20:35, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

You should be careful that you don't get accused of sock puppetry. Edits like this [1] from your account, and this [2] from 69.127.20.19 on the same article a few days later, with strikingly similar edit summaries asserting the same content, make it look like you're trying to abuse the system by pretending to be two different editors. Sometimes people forget to log in, or don't bother, but in this case, where you're repeatedly trying to add content that isn't supported on the talk page discussion, it looks like sock puppetry as described in Wikipedia:Sock puppetry. If you don't heed the information there, you're almost sure to be blocked entirely, and will find it difficult to make any contributions that stick. Willondon (talk) 21:08, 3 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
