June 2019 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Buckley Air Force Base; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.Garuda28 (talk) 00:02, 27 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Julietdeltalima. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Lazarus Group, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Please be careful with capitalization, as well. "Computer Intrusion" and "Second" were incorrectly (and inexplicably) capitalized. Thanks for your close attention to this. Please stop adding the category "National Security Agency Field Sites Directorate". There is no such category on Wikipedia, so it shows up as a redlink. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:41, 29 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Lazarus Group, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:19, 30 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing →   Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Geolodus (talk) 07:20, 13 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

ATTN:Working on new article

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button   located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Capital One data breach edit

Hi, you might want to work on your new article Capital One data breach to actually be about the breach, and to remove the name of the person indicted. WP:BLPCRIME states "For relatively unknown people, editors must seriously consider not including material—in any article—that suggests the person has committed, or is accused of having committed, a crime, unless a conviction has been secured. Schazjmd (talk) 00:53, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

I see her name has been in the Capital One article for awhile, unfortunately. Still, your new "main" article on the breach needs to have more information than is in the Capital One article (presently, it has much less) and the accused is not the "perpetrator" until convicted. Schazjmd (talk) 01:15, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Capital One data breach moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Capital One data breach, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. — Sagotreespirit (talk) 12:43, 4 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Epstein Sex trafficking Scandal edit

A tag has been placed on Template:Epstein Sex trafficking Scandal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.
