Fair use edit

hello just a friendly reminder you need to use free use rationale templates are some sort of rationale for the images you upload or else the Wikipedia cops will come after you. Here's an example of what I use

== Summary ==

{{Information
||Description = Book cover,
|Source = copyright Wizards of the Coast, URL = http://wizards.com/
|Date =
|Author = Original cover artwork by [[]]
|Permission = Fair use of copyrighted material (book cover)
|other_versions = }}
[[Category:Dungeons & Dragons module covers]]

== Licensing ==
This image is of a book cover{{Non-free book cover}}
{{Non-free media rationale
|Description=
|Source= Scanned by DM2ortiz
|Portion=Front cover
|Low_resolution= 100 or less DPI, copyright, trademark must be visible
|Purpose=The image is used as the primary means of visual identification of the article topic.
|Replaceability=No
|other_information=the following additional restrictions apply: (1) you must keep intact all copyright, trademark and other proprietary notices, (2) you must not make any modifications to the materials, and (3) you must not use the materials in a manner that suggests any association or approval or endorsement by any of [[Wizards of the Coast]].
}}

Or can use whatever you like. Dm2ortiz 02:13, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
