Removal of lyrics

Where is this guideline? As far as I know the first line of lyrics can be added to help in identifying the song. And there is "something on the writing process" - the lyricist. You are free to add further content if you can find some In ictu oculi (talk) 10:28, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

MOS: Music clearly states that "Lists of quotes from songs or other compositions or recordings are inappropriate, as are any sections consisting entirely or primarily of quotes". There's no need for a new section. You can add that they wrote the lyrics in the Background section itself, with an excerpt from the song (add a translation as well), and cite it. Penpaperpencil (Talk) 10:57, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

No, my main objection was the unnecessary addition of lyrics, with no relevancy to the page (since it's a wiki, not a lyric site), also addition of uncopyrighted lyrics aren't permitted without a relevant source. I do not understand Korean, so I cannot translate that article. If you could translate it, then I can add it. Penpaperpencil (Talk) 11:33, 5 March 2014 (UTC)

Thank you for the correction; it was simply a mistake. I changed the Korean album chart template (where I had correctly put it as number 2) to a reference per what other K-pop articles generally do and forgot it was not number 1 in the process. Ss112 09:24, 17 August 2017 (UTC)
