I tend to agree that there are some overlaps between my short article and the "Battle of Zikim", though the title does not really reflects the massacre that took place there.

Could you please advise me how to fill in the COI statement?

I'm in no way a paid editor or something like that.

I'm just an old member of the ILASS academic organization, which is a non-profit organization.
