What Wikipedia is not for

Hi. Welcome, again. There are many sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and Myspace where you can write about yourself or advertise your services, but Wikipedia is different. It is a project to build an encyclopedia, so advertising or promotion of any kind are not allowed, even in user or talk pages, and writing about oneself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at WP:Autobiography.

You have a user page at User:Parassv where you can post some information about yourself, if you like; but it is not a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site. User pages are intended for the volunteers, who are here to build the encyclopedia, to say something about themselves to assist communication within the project. They are not for "substantial content... that is unrelated to Wikipedia" like CVs or offers of services. Please see Wikipedia:Introduction and Wikipedia:User page for more information. Introduction : I’m Paras Dhasade (India), a design author and Graphic Artist. I make my living creating visual identities for companies of all sizes.
