October 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Hollyckuhno. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Sky Direct have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.   Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Sky Direct. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.   Hello, I'm Pandokokoy. Please enlighten me on what specific words I added on my recent contributions to Sky Direct are promotional. If you find it promotional, i suggest delete the whole sentence alone. Thank you. Pandokokoy (talk) 15:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Settle then. I'll just remove the whole sentence. Hollyckuhno (talk) 07:34, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply
Im good with it. It's better to have it taken down than retain it but inconsistent info Pandokokoy (talk) 15:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add soapboxing, promotional or advertising material to Wikipedia, as you did at Sky Direct, you may be blocked from editing. Hollyckuhno (talk) 07:26, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing. Enlighten me. Explain it to me why my edit should be taken down. I listen to reasons. Pandokokoy (talk) 15:25, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Notice of edit warring edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sky Direct. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 07:37, 8 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

BTW: If you want to call an editor to a talk page, preface with {{yo|Jim1138}} your talk, then sign ~~~~

Re:June 2020 edit

Hi Pandokokoy, as per reason by Hariboneagle927, it is due to original research that is to prevent unsourced and unverified content until it debuts on television. As your revision, it is actually an original research, so I revert your revision. I highly suggest to not add it first or revert your revision for the meantime until it debuts on June 13. Also, just a reminder, you need to click the "New Section" tab on my or any user talk page, and add four tildes at the end as per guidelines above, the next time to make a new message, comment or section. Cheers!!! Movies Time (talk) 11:41, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2020 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Kapamilya Channel, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Hariboneagle927 (talk) 16:41, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your recent editing history at Kapamilya Channel shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —hueman1 (talk contributions) 18:02, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
