Ways to improve Glib Vysheslavsky edit

Hi, I'm HelicopterLlama. Paintgol, thanks for creating Glib Vysheslavsky!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. This appears to be translated from Russian.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Disambiguation link notification for March 16 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Irina Vysheslavska edit

Hello, Paintgol, and thank you for your contributions!

I wanted to let you know it seems an article you worked on, Irina Vysheslavska, is copied from another Wikipedia page, Iryna Vysheslavska. It's fine to do this as long as you provide the following information in the edit summary:

  1. a link to the article you copied from
  2. the date you copied it

You can do this now by editing the page, making any minor edit to the article, and adding the above information into the edit summary.

If you're still not sure how to fix the problem, please leave a message at the help desk. It's possible that I made a mistake, so feel free to remove the tag I placed on the article.

Thanks again for helping build the free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 20:46, 17 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Glib Vysheslavsky edit

The article Glib Vysheslavsky has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Insufficient notability for WP:Artist.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Olena Golub, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Digital (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Ágnes HAász moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Ágnes HAász, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Vexations (talk) 16:43, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hope you will see, that this article is not so bad for the beginning, in time somebody will add more information and sourses. Now there are independent sources, reliable and verifiability, without commercial publicity, connected with art. There is currently exists only one text now [[Ágnes HAász|], but it's mistake that it was redirected to the identically text [[Ágnes HAász|]. Please help to correct it. Thank you.--Paintgol (talk) 19:07, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

We require that the content of an article is verifiable. That is one of our foundational policies. If all the sources are by the subject, or by people or organizations closely affiliated with the subject, the article is not verifiable. I moved it to the Draft namespace so that it won't be deleted, and you have an opportunity to improve the citations before returning it to main article space. I did not change the title of the article. As you can see in the move log [1] on 16:43, 11 December 2021 Vexations moved page Ágnes HAász to Draft:Ágnes HAász Vexations (talk) 20:58, 11 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Thanks to you I've added information from different sources ( to W. Kandinsky's). I know that "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published secondary sources and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources and primary sources. Secondary or tertiary sources are needed to establish the topic's notability and avoid novel interpretations of primary sources…Deciding whether primary, secondary, or tertiary sources are appropriate in any given instance is a matter of good editorial judgment and common sense, and should be discussed on article talk pages"(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:No_original_research#Primary,_secondary_and_tertiary_sources ). In this article (Hungarian Electrographic Art Association) - I think that citata by PhD Edith Barta is secondary source, not primary, becouse it's analytic objective material.--Paintgol (talk) 16:57, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

There are only two sources that are not at computerart.hu and those two don't even mention the HEAA. I don't think there's any significant coverage of this organization in independent, reliable sources. Vexations (talk) 23:19, 16 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

Dear Vexations! You are right, so more sources so better. Artists think mostly about colores and shape but not about public relations, sorry. Thank to you there are new additions in articles HEAA and about their President Ágnes HAász. We hope that over time the articles will become richer in information. Please return Ágnes HAász to main Wikipedia space from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:%C3%81gnes_HA%C3%A1sz . Everyone has the right to edit on Wikipedia and improve articles, this is democracy! (no one wants to edit the draft). Thank you very much.--Paintgol (talk) 19:31, 23 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

There are no Fails WP:NORG. Verification of this source is successful and reliable: 1.[2] 2020 FILM AWARDS Best Experimental Short: FLOATING WORLD – LIFE 1.0, Dénes Ruzsa and Fruzsina Spitzer, Hungary. 2.[3]EXHIBITIONS 2020 3rd prize (Marcil Lavallée Prize) to O. Golub, Ukraine, for Keys.

This is not primary source, it’s secondary, because of PhD Edith Barta is not member HEAA . She is independent theorist who writes for different editions, not especial for this. --Paintgol (talk) 18:32, 15 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
