Thanks for your message pointing out the relevant part of the copyright policy. I agree that if the google video content is a copyright violation, then the link should go. It was inserted by an anon user a while back and I moved it down to it's own section, because it gives some useful context to the controversy section. Michael Jordan as a Gay Icon

AWB bad link repair

On the AWB talk page, you expressed interest in a script to repair bad links. Well, I wrote one and sent it to Martin/Bluemoose. Martin uploaded the new version (1.6.3) about half an hour ago, so you can download it and use it to fix bad links. It fixes both bad internal and external links as per Wikipedia:Bad links - more specifically, it:

• Internal links
  • Fixes double spaces
  • Removes space at beginning
  • Removes space before "#"
  • (Note: Wikipedia:Bad links now lists a new item, space at end, that I just noticed - I'll write a regex for it ASAP.)
• External links
  • Fixes double "[[" (only, however, if it begins and ends with a double bracket - it doesn't fix uneven bracketing yet)
  • Replaces "|" with " "

Believe me, I'm sure. I'm not some kid who wouldn't say, "Oops, I didn't realized that's how it worked." Look at the history. I tweaked a sentence under "Parallels with Happy Days." I changed "toward the end of the series" to "later in the series" becaause Happy Days lasted a long time after Richie and Ralph left.Wryspy 06:33, 2 February 2006 (UTC)

I notice you're following Infinite Crisis too. You have good taste all around, it seems.

Here we go: It's the version of mine you included that comparison but now compared to an even earlier version: [[2]] I think even that comparison is wrong, though. I changed "toward the end of" to "later in" after that 201 person's edit. Sorry, I don't understand the system enough to guess. I don't have a clue why the other comparison looked like that. A person can't edit the history page, can they?

Hi. You might want to take a look at Talk:List of National Basketball Association players with 60 or more points in a game. We have one person adding wikilinks to the article and one person removing them. The American President automatically redirects to The American President (film) so it wasn't really needed. Normally I wouldn't notice, but when you submitted it, you submitted it as The American President (film) instead of The American President. My sincere apologies. Allow me to explain; When I went to link it and hit preview, the linkage was always a red, indicating that it didn't link properly. I am not really sure to what you are referring to. The only edit that I removed was a copyright violation and I discussed that on the talk page. This was a day or two ago. I haven't had a chance to review any changes or discussion that has been made over the past day. Unfortunately I don't have the time to comment on any of them now. However, I have NOT made any changes regarding the naming of the car, which seems to be what your primary concern is about, so I am really confused. Could you clarify? New Wikipedian Petadeo - James Blunt Edits

Hi there - as you greeted new wikipedian Petadeo, I thought it appropriate to let you know that I have left that person a message on their user page about their recent edits to the James Blunt entry. The edits are almost entirely direct quotes from published, copyrighted sources. I could probably dig them up if necessary, but it seems only fair to give Petadeo the opportunity to correctly reference the sources first. I suspect they should probably be rewritten as well, since the article as now edited is mostly direct quotes from other sources. Top Gear reference problem

Just wondering, did you notice my discussion posting about trying to make a <ref> to the 2006 Highlight section where someone mentioned whom was under the garb of The Stig, yet only made a hyperlink instead of using wiki formatting to add it to the reference section? I tried to do it, but when I went to the page linked, it's all in Swedish. The reference problem also extends to The Stigs page as well.--293.xx.xxx.xx 08:31, 15 March 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I meant to get around to taking a look at it but never had a chance. See how I did the edit. I can't read Swedish, so I hope it is correct. If you want to convert the Stig's page to the same inline references like how it is done for the Top Gear page, go ahead and if you happen to run into problems, let me know. To make the references show up, create a new subsection with the following code:

I noticed that you promoted Image:PIA04866 modest.jpg after I had removed it from WP:FPC as part of a block of 12 (in fact I ended up on the wrong side of an edit conflict with you when I tried to promote it myself!). I don't understand??? I thought the USER.example (example being the user name) was a user sandbox intended for the purpose of developing an article. If it is not then please explain.

Okay, I think I understand. The article I am working on may be just the thing to help eliminate any confusion. What I needed a sandbox for was to explore the creation of a table but having looked closer at a few tables on the Wikipedia it looks like they are just made by coding in HTML. Is this correct?
