PEN Thief

Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles, as you did with Manchester PEN Club. If you do not believe the article deserves to be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. However, the tag has been restored, as it is now tagged as patent nonsense. With that, I say... First, I don't delete articles, since I am not an administrator. I only tag them for deletion. Anyway, according to its deletion log, Manchester PEN Club was deleted (by Redvers (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA), not me) as a non-notable club, which on Wikipedia is subject to speedy deletion under the criteria for speedy deletion, specifically Article criteria #7. It was also bordering on patent nonsense - meaning it had no meaningful content. Those articles are speedyable under General criteria #1. However, it did not offend me. Nevertheless, Wikipedia subjects must be notable, and must make sense. The criteria for speedy deletion that applied indicate that we indeed believe consider this a problem page.
