September 2010 edit

Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to German Fairy-Tale Route, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 12:13, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on German Fairy-Tale Route. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. If the edit warring continues, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 12:20, 10 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Moving a page: German Fairy-Tale Route edit

Just to let you know, to rename (move) a page, you should use the "move" feature, which will move the entire history of the page to its new location, maintaining attribution to the author(s) of the article. I have reverted your edit turning this page into a redirect, and nominated the target for speedy deletion as needing to be deleted for an uncontroversial move: the target should be deleted by an admin shortly, and then the article can be moved properly. Thanks. GiftigerWunsch [TALK] 10:51, 13 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
