Your claims about methadone causing problems with insurance carriers is absolutely correct. It not only concerns methadone, but other morphine-type drugs. I cannot obtain insurance of any kind for this reason. Cited by Blue Cross, Blue Shield: We cannot provide coverage because of Chronic Narcotic Use. I suffer with degenerative disc disease, and just as a cancer patient, I require around the clock pain control. Methadone, being sufficiently potent, reasonably priced, and extremely safe when used as directed should be the last reason to deny coverage. A bottle of 180 10mg Methadone HCL tablets costs around $20 US dollars. It doesn't get much cheaper than that. Many people are aware of this, but I believe the knowledge is not common enough. Insurance carriers, physicians and the general public need be aware so chronic pain patients aren't treated as second class citizens; especially those who are on such inexpensive medicines. All three medications that I use to treat my pain come to $60 a month, and I'm sure they come at a much discounted rate to insurance companies. I have to pay 700 dollars monthly for my insurance, what if I get hurt and have to go to the ER? I must have insurance, so I am robbed monthly of half of my income. My only recourse would be to impregnate a woman of a minority, and then I could receive medicaid. -Enrique Incognitos —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.216.9.108 (talk) 17:19, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently copied the contents of a page and pasted it into another with a different name. Specifically, you copied the contents of Magpul Masada This is what we call a "cut and paste move", and it is very undesirable because it splits the article's history, which is needed for attribution and is helpful in many other ways. The mechanism we use for renaming articles is to move it to a new name which both preserves the page's history and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. In most cases, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. If there is an article that you cannot move yourself by this process, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Requested moves to request the move by another. Also, if there are any other articles that you copied and pasted, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. — DanMP5 21:11, 31 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
