November 2008 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Trga. Please use the {{hangon}} template on the page instead if you disagree with the deletion. Thank you. You're selling the organization. And you've basically done a copy-and-paste from another source. Both are prohibited. This is the third time this article has been posted in virtually identical form, and it's been deleted previously. This edition should suffer the same fate. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 07:26, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits edit

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 07:55, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

"Several players were sent this text to post..." edit

I assume by this statement in your message on my talk page that the TRGA sent the article text to people in hopes that they would post it as a Wikipedia article. That is a blatant attempt to get around Wikipedia's rules against promotion of an entity. It apparently has been done twice before with essentially the same text, and the article met the same fate as yours. Promotion of any entity or cause is strictly prohibited on Wikipedia, and whether or not the entity has anything to sell on their website or other means is utterly and totally irrelevant. Before you go posting such articles, you should read our rules and policies about what is an appropriate subject for Wikipedia. In other words, you should do your 'own homework.

If you or others continue to post this article in this form, they will be blocked from further editing. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 15:18, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Update: The TRGA has now essentially been blacklisted from Wikipedia. It appears that numerous other attempts to post this article under different titles have been done over the past month. All have been deleted, either by speedy deletion or the formal Article for deletion discussion. Becuase of your action and that of others, all references to the TRGA now banned, and articles with the title of the organization or its initials have now been salted to prevent their re-creation. You might want to inform your buddies in the organiztion that their action has backfired, and that any further attempts to spam Wikipedia will be stopped by any means possible, and that we will take any appropriate means to bring your group's further actions to a halt. - Realkyhick (Talk to me) 15:40, 19 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
