Twenty 4 Seven article: waned edit

Hi, I saw that you reverted 'waned' back to 'wanted' in the Twenty 4 Seven article. As your user page states that you have an intermediate level of English, I thought I should let you know that the correct word in the sentence is waned. 'Wane' is a verb meaning a decrease or decline (e.g. see http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/waned?s=t ). In the context of the sentence in the article, it means that the group's popularity declined. 'Wanted' does not make sense in that sentence. I am changing it back (it was originally 'waned', but then someone changed it to 'wanted' recently, and I changed it back).Nqr9 (talk) 11:13, 1 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Re; Golf game edit

It's okay, many make that mistake when they're new to the website.

On to your question - you're restricted even from Google? None the less, Wikipedia is generally for writing articles, or talking about writing articles, not just posing questions, so there's not a ton of options for this. I think you can pose random questions at the Reference Desk, probably specifically the Entertainment one, although I'm not sure how well that works. I've never used it - I've never understood its purpose when you've got search engines like Google at your disposal. Also, as a reader, you could always look through the titles listed at Category:Golf video games to see if any of those titles listed sound like the game you're talking about. Sergecross73 msg me 16:39, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

First: Yes, I'm restricted from Google... and yeah, I've checked the list of golf-games and I couldn't find what I'm looking for. About the use of talk-pages: On the Dutch Wikipedia, you're free to discuss whatever you like, where the discussions go completely off-topic sometimes. And no-one cares as long as you don't start a war... But, I'll try Reference Desk for further questions. Thanx for responding. Oxygene7-13 (talk) 16:57, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for sharing - that is interesting, I didn't know that about the Dutch Wikipedia. The different language's Wikipedias act independently from one another though, and from what I've gathered, the English one can be the strictest when it comes to guidelines and policies, so that does make sense. Anyways, best of luck in your search. Sergecross73 msg me 17:36, 13 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

File:Jmjelectronica2.jpg edit

Greetings. Please remember that under WP:NFCC#9 it is not OK to use non-free images outside of articlespace. I've thus removed this file from your user sandbox.Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 16:34, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

I use these pictures for private-use only. Due to restrictions I do not like to explain further, I do not even have the possibility to put these pictures online, even if I wanted to... (I'm restricted by a white-list) Am I allowed to do this? They'll end up on my harddrive and that's were they'll stay. If this is somehow of a problem, please let me know. With kind regards: Oxygene7-13 (talk) 19:44, 18 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Dinner for one traditie edit

OXYGENE 7-13 (TALKPAGE) 19:31, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply
Dus, consensus?--83.128.126.218 (talk) 19:37, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

OXYGENE 7-13 (TALKPAGE) 20:19, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Okay--83.128.126.218 (talk) 20:21, 13 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

AFD Comment edit

Hi there. I appreciate your participation at AFD, but comments like this don’t really help. Liking an article doesn’t help. Comments like that are generally ignored by the closing admin. If you want to have your stance counted, you’ll want to give a reason based on policy or precedent. See WP:ATA for more arguments to stay away from. Sergecross73 msg me 13:22, 17 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Sergecross73: Thanks for pointing that out. I changed my comment to be a bit more constructive. Oxygene7-13 (talk) 15:39, 17 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Username commentary edit

Please refrain from comments such as this (and the others you have made today). They are not helpful and only serve to egg on editors who make such accounts.-- Jezebel's Ponyobons mots 20:38, 27 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

@Ponyo: I know my behaviour looks worse than intended. I try to lure them with a funny/dumb remark so later on, I can convince them to behave more exceptable. Check this conversation for example. I promise I'll behave. Oxygene7-13 (talk) 12:05, 28 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Autoblocked...

  • Blocking administrator: not provided.

Decline reason: Between the CU results, the example linked above, and the edit questioning another user's former name, I agree with zzuuzz. I will not remove the autoblock, and I certainly won't entertain your request for IPBE. —DoRD (talk) 16:41, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I share this IP with 100 others. On the Dutch Wiki I am IP-block exempt to keep me out of trouble caused by others. Oxygene7-13 (talk) 10:55, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Note this is one for checkusers. There'll be no IPBE here today. I strongly recommend you withdraw this request, let the autoblock expire, and not let it happen again. Unless you want to contest the block and let people really probe the details you haven't included. I suspect that may not work out well. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:48, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

But the block is "indefinite", isn't it? Oxygene7-13 (talk) 14:50, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
The last time I looked, autoblocks expire in 24 hours (from the last 'hit'). If not, I'll disable it myself after that time. That might mean, take a break. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:54, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
OK, thanx a lot! I usually behave pretty brave and did not see this one coming. Can I ask for an "IPblock-exempt" like I have/am on the Dutch Wikipedia? Oxygene7-13 (talk) 14:56, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Considering what's happened here, the answer's going to be no. I've also disabled your unblock request for you, in your own interests. See how easily we're amused by this stuff. -- zzuuzz (talk) 15:14, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Knowing this is gonna sound a lot like "my little brother did it" but I share this IP with a 100 others... But, what makes the answer "no"? ...and what did you mean by "See how easily we're amused"? Oxygene7-13 (talk) 15:24, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I've seen the checkuser data. Either you know what's going on here, or you don't. If you know then I have no sympathy, and neither will anyone else, and there's no reason for IPBE. I'm assuming - best case scenario - that there was some comedy gone badly wrong, hence the lack of amusement. If you don't know, then I take it all back and you're welcome to take your chances with another unblock request (but see my advice above). -- zzuuzz (talk) 15:33, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Seriously, it wasn't me. I'm at a psychiatric hospital and all 100 of us have access to these computers. Believe me, this isn't my kind of humor. Wich template do I need to do it right? Oxygene7-13 (talk) 16:00, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

As you wish. Please see the instructions at Template:Autoblock -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:02, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I tried but it looks like I'm keep getting the wrong templates... Would you be so kind..? Oxygene7-13 (talk) 16:08, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Checkuser needed. This will do the same trick. -- zzuuzz (talk) 16:09, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I feel sick to my stomach about this... I must have left the computer without logging off. I tend to forget that so once in a while. That weird question must have been asked by that same guy. Oxygene7-13 (talk) 17:23, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

wow... I told you I tend to forget to log off but this is ridiculous... I'm gonna fry this dude! I checked my history and indeed, this looks bad. ...and I already mentioned that this is going to look like "my little brother did it".Oxygene7-13 (talk) 17:30, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
So, what about this, this, this, and a number of other "username questions" from this account? If they were all made by some other person then this account has been compromised, and I will have to block it. —DoRD (talk) 17:47, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
