January 2022 edit

Hello, I noticed that you may have recently made edits to Carl von Bismarck while logged out. Wikipedia's policy on multiple accounts usually does not allow the use of both an account and an IP address by the same person in the same setting and doing so may result in your account being blocked from editing. Additionally, making edits while logged out reveals your IP address, which may allow others to determine your location and identity. If this was not your intention, please remember to log in when editing. Thank you. DMacks (talk) 04:45, 11 January 2022 (UTC

Differently than you, my IP address is public, and does not affect the fact you are contributing to vandalise a page with false information.

Welcome to Wikipedia. Editors are expected to treat each other with respect and civility. On this encyclopedia project, editors assume good faith while interacting with other editors, which you did not appear to do at User talk:DMacks. Here is Wikipedia's welcome page, and it is hoped that you will assume the good faith of other editors and continue to help us improve Wikipedia! Thank you very much! Mischaracterizing a content dispute as vandalism edit

You have been engaged in an edit war at Carl von Bismarck where you claim that an editor is vandalizing the article when, to other editors, it appears to be a content dispute. While actual vandalism might be an exemption for a conflict-of-interest editor such as yourself to edit the page, in this circumstance, you need to confine yourself to making your case on the talk page Talk:Carl von Bismarck. — jmcgnh(talk) (contribs) 07:34, 11 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
