Kosovo Players edit

Surely as Kosovo isn't recognised by FIFA, and as per FIFA eligibility rules, Kosovo shouldn't be used as a players nationality? --Dave logic (talk) 23:07, 23 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Kosovo is de facto recognized by FIFA, they play in FIFA sanctioned friendlies, and Kosovo is almost unilaterally considered a country. I don't see why they shouldn't have a nationality on Wikipedia, considering most other football sources are using Kosovo as a nationality nowadays. Ortizesp (talk) 15:26, 25 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Achraf Hakimi edit

I am not sure if WP considers call-up to a national team declaring nationality, but it's close enough. I think he has to play, but again it's close enough. Thanks Raul17 II (talk) 01:57, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Nationality in intro edit

As you have been told before, when a player is born in one country but represents another, it is pretty standard to not use the nationality at the very beginning of the intro, but to explain it further in the lede. GiantSnowman 17:26, 30 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Minor edits edit

Hi, please be careful with marking your edits as minor as you did recently at Antoine Griezmann. Edits should only be marked as minor when making changes that are simply for correcting mistakes (e.g. formatting errors, correcting puntuation or typos) and not for adding content. Please read Help:Minor edit if you need any help. Thanks. Kosack (talk) 06:26, 5 July 2016 (UTC)Reply

Yusuf Yazici edit

I moved it to Yusuf Yazici as there was no page-but saw that you linked another guy with the same name-are you going to make a DAB page? You can move it back if you want. Wgolf (talk) 02:36, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

I would, but I don't know how to make a DAB page. I don't mind it being at Yusuf Yazici, I doubt the other gets many views, but you could if you want. Thanks for reviewing my pages by the way, I appreciate it.--Ortizesp (talk) 02:43, 17 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

December 2016 edit

Please do not add or change content, as you did at Demarai Gray, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. If you're going to add ethnicities or descent categories to articles about living persons, you must use a reliable source to justify your edits. That means no blogs, no tabloid newspapers, and certainly no random websites like soccersouls.com. If you've been using that sort of source at other pages, I'd advise going back to revert yourself. Thank you for listening. Struway2 (talk) 21:42, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Further to this: with this edit at Jason Puncheon, you added that Mr Puncheon had a Jamaican father, cited to a piece in The independent, which is a reliable source. The problem is that the piece doesn't mention Mr Puncheon's father. Why are you making these things up? Struway2 (talk) 22:01, 16 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Joël Geissmann edit

The article Joël Geissmann has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
