Hey dude - Is that you? :) edit

You dont happen to be the Oroshi from Kendo-world forum now are ya? If you are then "hellu" :-). Its Fred27 from the same-forum. If yer here for martial arts edits then I recommend you check out the Martial arts project found here Wikipedia:WikiProject_Martial_Arts. We are a small gang trying to contribute the best we can. I'm the main creator & contributor on the Shinto Muso-ryu article and related sub-articles, but I have no Iaido knowledge and the Iaido articles sure need attention.

Anyways, welcome here dude :) Fred26 09:51, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, yes it's me. My knowledge of iaidō history is sketchy at best, and the article is a huge mess. One of these days I'll get stuck in but I don't want to overstep the bounds of my knowledge. I hope we can get it up to the quality of the Jōdō article. At least I can help with Japanese! The MJER article is a nightmare too. It's all written from a ZNIR perspective so its lineages etc. are all based on that. Again I don't know enough to balance it out. One day though... :-) Oroshi 14:37, 27 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

MJER Revision edit

Hey, it'd be nice to collaborate on the MJER revision project, but talking through Wikipedia Discussion pages is slow and tedious. Please email me at softparade.the at gmail dot com. My line of MJER has a few variations in waza and set names, plus extra bangai, and it would be easiest to just send you a scan of our curriculum. --Kenkyuukai (talk) 07:17, 18 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Email sent - sorry for the delay. --Oroshi (talk) 09:46, 22 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

EJMAS edit

Richard, I apologize for contacting you through your talk page on a non-wikipedia related business.

Now that they are not available on kenshi247, and are lost to general public, I would like to secure permission from you, to re-publish some of your articles on EJMAS (Electronic Journal of Martial Arts). We are especially interested in the series on the tanka of Eishin ryu and on the history of Ona Ha Itto Ryu, plus the short translation that you did on the meaning of nukitsuke, since we feel that that kind of knowledge should not be lost.

Could you get in touch by either writing on my talk: page, or contacting me by e-mail (link on my public page), and we could discuss it further, and I could put you in touch with editors of EJMAS.

Thank you, and Happy New Year. Urokugaeshi (talk) 09:53, 2 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
