Could you please use edit summaries for your edits? I know that doing so can seem needless and tedious, but it helps other editors to quickly sort-out good edits from bad. Marginal significance

We really don't want to link every article on each sort of marginal concept to every other article on a marginal concept. A link from “Marginal utility” to “Marginal efficiency of capital” isn't really a good idea. We do have a centralizing article, “Marginal concepts”. However, it might be best to develop “Marginal efficiency of capital” before linking from “Marginal concepts”, as it isn't going to be apparent to most readers (and perhaps not even to most economists) why the concept as Keynes identified it is a marginal concept. The article ought to have an explanation of that, and the explanation would need to draw upon “reliable sources” without “original research”. —SlamDiego_←T 04:02, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

2009 September

Two of the links that you have added (in at least one case repeatedly) to “Marginal efficiency of capital” really aren't suitable. While there is some relationship between the MEC and marginal utility, this is simply because there is some relationship between any price and marginal utility. And if that more general relationship didn't hold, so that prices generally were otherwise explained, then the MEC would still be meaningful. Empty sections

Why are you adding empty sections, such as "Notes", "References", and "External Links" to articles that don't have any external links, or which already have sections containing all necessary references? There's no point in adding separate sections if there isn't any content for them, and if all of the notes are under one heading, there's no reason to create a separate heading with a different title but no content. Chronology of Karl Marx

I've noticed your attempt to create this, or a similar article, at least twice now. I would suggest, before creating the general skeleton in the mainspace, that you create a fully fleshed out page in your userspace. You can do this by creating a page at, for example, User:Oracleofottawa/Chronology of Karl Marx. That page is in your userspace, and people will give you latitude to develop it into a full article, or at least an article that meets the mainspace criteria. I've used this method myself, working for weeks on a particular article before moving it into the mainspace.

When you feel like your creation's ready to go into the main encyclopedia, you can either use the move button to put it in there, or you can just copy paste into a new article (copy-paste is ok in this case because you're the only contributor, but if others had edited you should use the move method, because that method also moves the history which shows who made which contribution, which is required by the copyright license).

Alternatively, you can use the preview button to check the page before you submit it. But I suspect someone will delete the current version you have out there right now, simply because it has no content. I won't nominate it so soon, but I would highly suggest that you use the userspace method. It makes things much easier and cleaner and allows you to tweak your contribution much more freely. Thank you for your comments, Oracle! Also for the entertaining stories about HJ, they were tough bastards but our boys (Canadians) were regarded as just as hard as they regarded themselves, by them, no less. I will let this one go but it irks me to no end. Have read Meeting of Generals as well as Panzermeyer, Grenadiere but wont get Beevor, he appears to be late to the tea party (not a political statement) with a book about D-Day +, much prefer Ambrose.

When adding internal links, can you please take a moment to check that the links send readers to where you expect? For example, in this edit, the three links you made all take readers to disambiguation pages. Before you save, you should use the preview button, then right-click each link and choose "open in new tab" or "open in new window". If a link doesn't go where you expect, you can use piping. For example, you can make the word "corruption" link to the article on Political corruption by entering [[Political corruption|corruption]].

Internal links

Hey, I noticed you are inserting wikilinks on a bunch of biographies. Two things:

• Pages like American, German, or Lithuanian are disambiguation pages. They should a) not be linked (who doesn't know what America is?); b) piped to the right country; c) entered like this: [[Lithuania]]n which displays Lithuanian but still links to the right place.
• Do not link common words like mathematician, translator, editor (common professions), Canada, America (common countries), etc. See WP:LINK, especially the section on overlinking.

Dear Pittsburgh, the snow must really be deep there! I developed that line as my personal mantra when I was working outside and had the pleasant time to think on such things. One day on a run I saw a nail in a driveway entrance. I could ignore it or pick it up. If I ignored it, someone would catch the nail and set off a chain of events, possibly fatal! (Think about it..) So I decided at least once a day to always pick up the nail. Thinking of the world as a four dimensional matrix..if everyone did this the world would I strongly believe would be a much better place. Since a very small change in one numerical value of a matrix can have a large change on all the values of that matrix. I just did a Google search of the line and much to my surprise it looks like it originates with me! So go ahead and fit it in to a song and give me credit in the liner notes..
