Economy of Venezuela table edit

I have amended the table as follows:

  1. each <TD> element now has a corresponding </TD> element to close the "data" entity.
  2. each <TR> element now has a corresponding </TR> element to close the "row" entity.

A table in HTML is basically like this:

<TABLE>
   <TR>
      <TD>Row 1, Data 1</TD>
      <TD>Row 1, Data 2</TD>
   </TR>
   <TR>
      <TD>Row 2, Data 1</TD>
      <TD>Row 2, Data 2</TD>
   </TR>
</TABLE>

A table in wikipedia is formatted slightly different - see help:table.

When I get a chance, I'll reformat it in wiki format (but note that HTML works perfectly well), and also line up the decimal points!

Keep up the work on wikipedia - and if you have problems, keep using Wikipedia:Help Desk as you did this time! PhantomSteve (Contact Me, My Contribs) 21:08, 5 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Council on Hemispheric Affairs edit

You added some quotes from COHA to the article on the Honduras crisis. COHA is unfortunately, not a WP:RS, and has a long history of having to retract acticles, including some of its articles on the Honduras coup. The quotes you posted contain factual errors. I thought I'd sound you out about how strongly you feel about including those quotes in the article. Rsheptak (talk) 18:28, 17 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

  Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary for your edits. Thank you. SpinningSpark 19:32, 8 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

I would like to re-iterate what SpinningSpark has said about edit summaries. You're making extensive changes to op-amp articles, and the lack of edit summaries makes it hard for other editors to track what's going on. Best regards, Oli Filth(talk|contribs) 15:54, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Conrad Lynn edit

A tag has been placed on Conrad Lynn requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Sorry, may have jumped the gun. Try recreating the page with the ref in place. C1k3 (talk) 04:32, 13 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
