Native Americans in the United States

Hello, Oncamera. May I ask why you reverted my edit to Native Americans in the United States? Personally, I wouldn't have phrased the header as such, but I believe it would be "Africans and Native Americans have interacted for centuries. " and not "African and Native Americans have interacted for centuries. ", which would imply a single person from Africa has interacted with Native Americans for centuries. Rereading the sentence, it's possible that the implied explanation is that it means "African Americans and Native Americans have interacted for centuries." Due to English being weird, both are correct, my apologies. UnexpectedSmoreInquisition aka USI (talk) 15:13, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Yes, the sentence is meant to be read as shortening African Americans and Native Americans. Perhaps it can be written clearer and just put "African Americans and Native Americans" or "African- and Native-Americans". But grammatically, the Americans is pluralized and not African or Native in either case.  oncamera  _{(talk page)} 20:39, 14 February 2024 (UTC)

Hi Oncamera, Thanks for letting me know about adding the citations. But, I'm little confused with what can be the valid citations that can be linked with the data. I have found related WIKI articles to the statements that I have added, will that be fine to go ahead add those WIKI's or let me know your inputs in this regard. @Suchithra moolinti: No, you need to add sources to your statements. See Help:Referencing for beginners. Otherwise, add your updates to the talk page with sources and editors will look at what you want to add. Because this is a featured class article undergoing review, your edits will be scrutinized and likely removed or highly edited.
