Salut à tous les amis de la Wikipedia. Quoique je sois capable de bavarder en anglais, je n'admettrai que le latin ou le francais commme "une langue internationale". C'est pourquoi je voudrais vous déconseillir de m'écrire en anglais à moins qu'aucune des langues que je parle ne vous convienne. Je vous remercie d'en avoir tenu compte.

Please help to translate this pali-language sentence into English

Hello, Omnesvulnerantun. Sorry for interrupting you! I am a Chinese-wiki editor, today I uploaded a file on wiki-common: [1], which is an important Pili-language sentence that results in the early divide of Buddhism (Theravada and mahasamghika). One of my friend insisted that this words shouldn't be said into Mahaparinibbana Sutta; however, I found this word from Pali's maha-parinibbana-suttanta. Since both of us don't know pali-language, I may need your help on translate this sentence. ( I consider it is: "Do not lay down that which has not been laid down; Do not eliminate that which has been laid down." ) Thanks for any response!
