Discussion regarding 2007 Cleveland Browns season

edit

I'd like to ask you as politely as possible why you made the changes you did in the article 2007 Cleveland Browns season. Not only are none of your changes sourced, but you completely changed the format of several of the sections. There really was no reason to make the changes you made at all, as you did nothing to improve the article whatsoever. I don't see why, as a new user, you felt the need to go into an article and make the changes you made, when there was no need to make them in the first place. I'll keep your free agent table in there; other than that, I'm reverting your edits, because they make the article extremely messy, and it's not organized at all. (And once again, nothing is sourced.) So I hope you'll understand why I'm reverting your edits and won't resort to an edit war with me, as I've been keeping track of the updates to the article. If that happens, I'll have an admin lock it. Thanks. Wlmaltby3 01:45, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Also, I'd like to point out that I can't find the signing of Brian Russell anywhere. It's not on NFL.com, the Seahawks' website or even the Browns website. So I think you may have gotten a player confused. Wlmaltby3 01:48, 12 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I don't see why what I did was messy but I won't ever edit that page again. I had a list of signings and departures and yes, it didn't have references but I was definately going to go back and put them in. 7231g 11:33, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
There's no reason you can't edit the article. But there should be a uniformity to all articles, and your edits didn't have uniformity. Do you know what I'm trying to get at? It's not that they weren't good edits; they just weren't thought out well enough to have implemented them that fast. (Especially completely changing someone else's edits that didn't need to be changed in the first place.) That's why I kept your basic idea but left them in the previous format. No harm, no foul. I might've come off harsh, but the main reason was because I was mad about Brian Russell being signed by the 'Hawks, and yet I couldn't find any sources at all. Stupid, I know, but then again, I'm known to be jumpy. Wlmaltby3 14:18, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
It's ok. I understand now. 7231g 21:55, 13 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading Image:Atreyu band photo.png. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- moe.RON Let's talk | done 19:33, 17 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
