Violation of 3RR edit

Per WP:3RR, "...Contributors must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period, whether or not the edits involve the same material, except in certain circumstances. A revert is any action, including administrative actions, that reverses the actions of other editors, in whole or in part." You have re-edited the same page 4 times now in 24 hours over my reverts, and you have partially reverted my edits in doing so. You are advised that if you do not revert to my page in 5 minutes, further action will be taken against your violation of WP:3RR. FactStraight (talk) 02:56, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

My last edit is not a 4th revert, but a new edit that combines both of our edits. After all, that is what opposing parties are supposed to do on Wikipedia: seek editorial compromise of their opposing views. Yes, I re-edited the article a 4th time, but I did not revert it a 4th time in 24th hours. Big difference between "edit" and "revert." Nontrickyy (talk) 03:04, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
As you've threatened on my talk page, PLEASE report me for "vandalism", Stefanp/Carbunar/Parisian2006/John Mathis/CrownJewel/Throne&Altar/Lil' mouse/Lil' mouse 2/Lil' mouse 3/Nontricky/Nontrickyy -- I look forward to showing Administrators how you have violated WP:BLP on Michael I of Romania by exercising WP:OWNership over the article since 2006, and document how I have reported it, others have tried to salvage the article from your control, and all of the various sockpuppets you have used on this and related articles to avoid it being noticed that you have seized ownership. Your time to revert to my version is nearly up! FactStraight (talk) 03:14, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
I'll report you for vandalism if you report me, not otherwise. I am a man of peace, so I do not seek confrontation. I [Nontricky/Nontrickyy/last IP user on the King Michael history page] am not a sock-puppet of the others you mentioned. Nontrickyy (talk) 03:21, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
Your version has no references for your speculation with the "secret police." I'll include it, but label it as such, meaning you will need to produce a source for it or else it will remain just a speculation. Nontrickyy (talk) 03:30, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

October 2008 edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. King of ♠ 06:17, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Violation of 3RR edit

With reference to Michael of Romania, and related articles: Please note that Wikipedia's rule against edit-warring also applies to "partial reverts": "Contributors must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period, whether or not the edits involve the same material, except in certain circumstances. A 'page' is any page on Wikipedia, including talk and project space. A revert is any action, including administrative actions, that reverses the actions of other editors, in whole or in part." Please be careful to avoid violating 3RR. Thanks. FactStraight (talk) 09:44, 28 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Radu Duda edit

Hello Nontricky,

I added the following sentence to the radu article:

Since there is no authority in Romania anymore, that can legally bestow titles of royalty or nobility, Radu's title of "Prince of Romania" with the style of "Royal Highness" has no foundation in extant law. Since he was not born as a descendant of a former Royal Family, his claim to the title also has no relation to the habit of descendants of former reigning families of holding titles in pretence. Radu's legal name is "Radu al României Duda".

Note that I talk about extant law. Not about religion or notions being derived from that about Royalty related subjects. I reversed your deletion af the sentence. Gerard von Hebel (talk) 19:20, 6 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
