However, as a general rule, talk pages such as Talk:Spike (stagecraft) are for discussion related to improving the article, not general discussion about the topic. Actually, this was in reference to this phrase within the artice: "in a pinch, gaffer, masking or Electrical tape can be used". While they are common substitutes, they are not equal with the exception of gaff tape since it's the same thing (but a different size).Noderaser (talk) 00:32, 18 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
