Speedy deletion nomination of His Eminency Dr. Hazrat Sheikh Shah Sufi Mohammed Nurul Alam

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on His Eminency Dr. Hazrat Sheikh Shah Sufi Mohammed Nurul Alam requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. E. Hello, Niraleah1. You have new messages at Ronhjones's talk page.
Message added 18:49, 29 October 2010 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.Reply

Page is restored, OTRS ticket is placed. Note that ALL ne biographies must have at least one reference from a reliable source, or they can be proposed for deletion (ten day process). Since you have not had much editing time I have not placed a WP:BLPPROD template on the page - but it won't stop another editor doing so. Please try to add in-line references as soon as possible to ensure that the page remains.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:45, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ok, thank you for restoring it, I am adding references. But I need to know how to add the picture to the right side of the page like all other wiki pages? How do I also add the notes section to this page? Niraleah1 (talk) 06:16, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Picture on right - two ways.
  1. WP:IMAGE - put a "right" parameter into the link [[File:His Eminency Dr. M.N. Alam.jpg|right|His Eminency Dr. M.N. Alam]]
  2. Use a template - see Template:Infobox person - copy the text as seen on that page in the white boxes into the top of the edit window of your page. The template is a list of parameters (on the left) and their values (which appear in the box), if a value is not added, then the parameter is not used - so you don't get a lot of blank entries, even if you use the full set of parameters. The image does not need links in the template so becomes "image = File:His Eminency Dr. M.N. Alam.jpg". See Alfred Hitchcock as an example.
Hope that helps - let me know if you need any help.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:38, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've added a references section for you with the correct template to show the references. Now any inline references will list in that section.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:41, 1 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
Lol, I realized I do not need a reference list anymore because all the information can be found in the external link I provided. I was wondering if I got the picture from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Hiseminencywiththelogoofwashintondc.jpg and would like to edit it in photoshop to make it a 200x300px could I do that and then upload it? Niraleah1 (talk) 04:12, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
No need to change size - it would get deleted fairly swiftly as a duplicate if you did that. Just use a size parameter in a link [[File:Hiseminencywiththelogoofwashintondc.jpg|right|200px|His Eminency Dr. M.N. Alam]] or if in an infobox then use the image size parameter. I've just done it for you.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:08, 2 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
