Hi, Nils. There's a problem with conflict of interest if you have a personal involvement with the product. Even if you own the copyright to the text, you would first have to release it into this site's licensing, effectively placing it in the public domain. I honestly don't recommend this to anyone in the same situation. If you review this section, it will explain in detail what needs to go into a first article. Being involved with the product doesn't automatically exclude you from contributing. You mentioned Kleenex as an example; Kleenex is a world-famous brand and has become the default name for most similar products. It is extremely notable.
