Please read this before posting a message on my talk page
If your here to post a message about a warning that has been left on your userpage, there's no need, it's a bug in the software that is under investigation. Just remove the warning from your userpage (but leave an Edit Summary explaining why). Best Wishes AA Milne

User:Duhman0008 edit

I am choosing not to block Duhman0008 for removing content from his talk page, nor will I protect the page. Please see his page for an explanation (or visit this diff, in case he reverts my explanation). --Ginkgo100 talk · e@ 21:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Jump Ultimate Stars edit

I don't know what I was being warned about. I was actually trying to link all of the characters as best as I could. What violation was I doing on that? -StrangerAtaru 23:09, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Nothing, either me or a bug in the system, sorry about that. I've reverted back to the your last edit prior. AA Milne 23:12, 20 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Free Speech edit

Wikipedia is not censored, I have freedom of speech here! I am not removing from articles or making them offensive, just exercising my first amendment rights and showing my politics.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Joblamma (talkcontribs)

Vandalism left on this page by User:Joblamma has been removed. AA Milne 00:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Free speech isn't vandalism. George Washington died for us to have Free Speech, so why do you hate it? If you are a Muslim or a Democrat maybe you need to read Free Speech. Wikipedia is supposed to be about free speech!
Your abusing your right to free speech by preventing others from their right of free speech by covering parts of Wikipedia with your anti-Wikipedia material. I am utterly sickened by your religious bigotry I must add, and your political spin. I'm no American, Muslim or a Democrat. I'm a loyal subject of Her Britannic Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, if you must know, a member of the Church of Scotland, and what we call a swaying voter, though I tend to favour independent candidates focusing on local issues. Best Wishes AA Milne 01:11, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I didn't cover the article, so I was not stopping others from free speeching. I guess I shouldn't expect a Brit to understand Free Speech my apology. Afterall you were the ones WHO TRAMPLED OUR RIGHTS. George Washington died fighting so he could stop you from abusing our Free Speech, just like you did later to India. You should learn a thing about Free Speech. It would help you to make a good government where you didn't feel scared of owning a gun because others might kill you for your free speech. George Washington Free Speech Revolutionary War read these and understand. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Joblamma (talkcontribs)
You covered the left hand column which prevented users from accessing Wikipedia and you defaced the work of others. AA Milne 01:24, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I really should stay out of this ... but ... Free Speech belongs to the owner of the press or, in this case, the website. They set the rules of what may be posted here and how business is to be conducted. AA Milne is following those rules. You are not. (As a historical note, George Washington died in his bed of an acute infection of the throat and lungs.) -- Kokopelli Jones.

Your username edit

Have a look at this and tell me if that was recent. AA Milne is a very well known author and having the same username as his name is against the policy. You can take this to WP:ANI if you want. Regards, — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 16:48, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

A user name of Jesus is blocked because it's the name of a religious figure. A. A. Milne died 50 years ago; he doesn't fall into the category of "well-known living or recently deceased people". -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 16:56, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi guys - if using the name AA Milne is going to cause any problems, can you please change my username to "Eeyore". Best Wishes AA Milne 16:59, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

P.S - I'll be on [1] pretty much all night if you want to catch up with me in real time.

If you decide to change your user name, the instructions can be found here: Wikipedia:Changing username. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 17:22, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Argh. Sorry about that, you can see this one – User talk:Kurt Cobain. Regards, — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 19:40, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Guys, AA Milne is still reknowned for his Winnie The Pooh works. Its a matter of policy, we are required not to take up usernames that people might mistake us for somebody else. Although, I must say it is not provacative at all and you might continue using it. Although, your RfA might be opposed on this basis. I am sorry for all the inconvenience. Regards, — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 19:48, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Nick, would the name Eeyore be permitted, if so, would it be possible for you to change my username over. Best Wishes AA Milne 20:02, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, ofcourse. Its a fictional character, just like me. I wish you best of luck for your future endeavours. Regards, — Nearly Headless Nick {L} 20:07, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Strange revert edit

This is strange: [2]. You reverted me but the edit summary says you reverted an IP... Tizio, Caio, Sempronio 17:38, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's a bug in the system, as per the big blue box at the top of the page, not really anything to worry about though. AA Milne 17:56, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
The big blue box is about messages on user talk pages, not about reverting with the wrong edit summary. Since it's a bug in the software, and you did not so far explain why you reverted, I rolled back to my version. Tizio, Caio, Sempronio 12:24, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Many thanks. Their vandalism has once again been reverted and additional cases of vandalism found and removed on other articles. AA Milne 18:42, 21 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Locomotive technical data tables-duplication edit

I was going to add User:David Newton/British Railway Locomotive Tables to some more loco classes when I discovered that you had today created Template:Infobox UK Train 1. Is the latter intended to replace the former? Which one should I be using?--QuantumEngineer 20:38, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

No, the new infobox is intended as a simplified version and the full version should still be used later on down the page, I've left out lots of stuff on heating/electric train supply, brake force, sanding etc. I'm going to tweak the British Railway Locomotive Tables to take sub-classes in different columns, for instance there's now several sub-classes of British Rail Class 66 in service with different gearing, top speeds, but none of this is reflected in the existing tables. I'm working back from Class 59 at the moment having done 67, 66, 60 and 59s. Best Wishes AA Milne 20:59, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Turns out there's yet another one. See discussion here--QuantumEngineer 13:25, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Rev. of clean up of links on Brahma Kumaris edit

Hi, you did a Rev. of my edit of the clean up of the links which BTW was suggested by AbsolutDan... Just doing what he asked so we can remove the tags. The links are more appropriate on the PBK Article here on wikipedia. Please see article to see that I did place the links there. ThanksTalkAbout 22:31, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, you really shouldn't be cross referencing Wikipedia in articles, whether as a source or for links. Best Wishes AA Milne 22:33, 22 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your user page is very popular.... edit

You might want to update that vandalism counter. :-) -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 20:41, 24 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I was just heading over to your userpage to say thanks for reverting the vandalism. Many thanks and best wishes. AA Milne 20:41, 24 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
