"This is my account, but I have forgotten my password and no longer have access to the email address associated with the account. I have not many many edits, but am attached to the history of the account. Is there any way I can gain access to this account again? Thank you for your help! I will revisit this page to check for answers."

Sadly, nope. Your best bet is to create a new account and link them on the userpage (and/or talkpage) of the new account, for example saying "this account is a new account of User:Nettework, because the old account is now inaccessible".
