Hello, I'm Gtwfan52. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Lenzie Academy without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! It may be that the length of the sections you attribute to a "disgruntled pupil" may be a bit unduly long, but they are referenced and factual. If you feel this unbalances the article, add some referenced positive copy or start a discussion at the article talk page on how to edit the section you removed down. I added a category on your talk page as this is where the links to talk you took me to. This is the first time I have edited on Wikipedia so please bear with me if I have taken the wrong route. I have also received an email from yourself via the site and have replied to it. What is the best route to discuss this?
- On the article's talk page, not mine. Click the tab at the top of the article marked "talk". I am not an interested editor on your article, so I won't be participating. I just simply reverted your improper removal of material and gave you some advice on what to do next. You got an email, because your preferences are set to tell you when you get a change on your user talk page, this page. It is a good thing to keep on, but if you look, the email is from Wikipedia, not me. It was a notice that someone changed your talk page. I still don't get you adding a category to my talk page, but, I understand the newcomers blues with Wikipedia. There is absolutely nothing intuitive about it.
- Ok, I have read your email. You should read all of the templated message I left you. It may very well be that there is an overbalance of negative material on the page. But it is all properly referenced, so you can't just take it out because you don't like it. The way to go is to either add more properly referenced positive material to balance it out, or start a discussion on the article's talk page on how to pare the negative stuff down. Articles on Wikipedia are not the property of the subject of the article and will include properly sourced negative information. I will leave you a link to a Q&A forum especially for beginners where you can get your "how-to" questions answered. Articles on Wikipedia are edited collaboratively, so when you want to make a change to an article, you go to the article's talk page and discuss it with the other interested editors. I will also leave you a welcome message, which will have a whole big pile of links on it to various policies. There are two links at the end of the block of text at the top of the welcome message that go to how-to guides. Those will be of the most value to you in the beginning. Good luck. I have tried to start a discussion for you at the articles talk page, and I have invited the School project to look in and see what they think.
