Speedy deletion nomination of Sajjan saini

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Sajjan saini requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Dahiya (clan) moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Dahiya (clan), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Param Vir Chakra, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Punjabi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Discretionary sanctions alert notice

edit
The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or a topic ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

I have works loyalty on my Surroundings or related only my Caste.

Neeraj Puru (talk) 05:58, 18 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
You should start citing reliable sources for your edits instead of showing loyalty towards your caste. You are solely promoting Saini caste with your unsourced or poorly sourced edits.
BTW, with these edits, you again inserted the wrong/unsourced bit in the village title. Even the unreliable sources provided by you don't support the "Sainian" bit. I also couldn't find any reliable source for it. So, please stop adding unsourced details. I will probably request to move the article to its correct title in a day or two. - NitinMlk (talk) 15:14, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

A page you created has been nominated for deletion as an attack page, according to section G10 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

Do not create pages that attack, threaten, or disparage their subject or any other entity. Attack pages and files are not tolerated by Wikipedia, and users who create or add such material may be blocked from editing. serial # 08:05, 21 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for contributing to the article Bir Mangoli Sainian ‎. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! If you need any help or clarification, you can look at Help:Contents/Editing Wikipedia or ask at Wikipedia:New contributors' help page, or just ask me. Thank you. Verifiability and advocacy

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. You have been here for three weeks, now, and so far your contributions give the appearance of advocating in favor of a particular position regarding an Indian caste system, or people and places connected to it, with scant regard for core Wikipedia policies such as Verifiability. There are numerous policies and guidelines at Wikipedia, and as a new editor, you're given a certain amount of latitude while you're learning how things work around here, but it's important that you recognize that any content you add or change in articles must be verifiable in reliable sources. To simplify this somewhat, since I realize English is not your mother tongue, let me say it this way: If you want to add anything to an article, you must be able to give the name of a book, magazine, or newspaper that proves that what you are saying is true. Please read Help:Footnotes for how to do this. If you cannot find a book, or other source for the change you want to make in an article, then do not change the article. This is important; if you ignore this advice repeatedly, it's possible that you may lose your ability to edit Wikipedia. Please respond, and tell me if you understand what I am saying here. Thank you. Mathglot (talk) 20:37, 31 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
