Speedy deletion nomination of The Wilson edit

A tag has been placed on The Wilson, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

it is a non-notable building

You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eagles 24/7 (C) 03:49, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please don't worry that your contributions are ignored; all buildings on the National Register of Historic Places are worthy of Wikipedia articles. I've upgraded the article with more information and an infobox template — you can now find it at Wilson (Indianapolis, Indiana). Nyttend (talk) 04:10, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hi Nedtorson. Thanks for starting "The Wilson" article, which is now back at The Wilson. Sorry for the confusion about it. As I explain at Talk:The Wilson and a discussion linked from there, there has been confusion because a bunch of Indianapolis apartment buildings including The Wilson were incorrectly entered into the National Register's central database when they were listed on the National Register. It should be all set now for that one, and I will fix up the other apartment building entries in the National Register of Historic Places listings in Center Township, Marion County, Indiana. I hope you may enjoy editing in wikipedia, including perhaps developing more of the NRHP items on that list. If you have or could take digital photos of "The Wilson" or any other NRHP places, that would be especially great! And please feel free to contact me or Nyttend at our Talk pages if you have any questions. I'll also "watchlist" this Talk page of yours for a while. Nyttend and I enjoy working together on developing NRHP articles nation-wide. Regards, doncram (talk) 15:29, 15 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of The Cathcart edit

The article The Cathcart has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Small, non-notable apartment building not listed itself but as part of a historic area. I cannot find significant coverage in reliable sources to satisfy WP:GNG.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 03:31, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Articles for deletion nomination of The Cathcart edit

I have nominated The Cathcart, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Cathcart. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.
