Speedy deletion nomination of Joan Robinson's Growth Model edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Joan Robinson's Growth Model requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Karthik Nadar (talk) 17:08, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Joan Robinson's Growth Model edit

Welcome to Wikipedia, thank you for taking the time to create a page here. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you created yourself. Because Wikipedia policy does not allow the creator of the page to remove deletion tags, an automated program has replaced the deletion tag you removed from Joan Robinson's Growth Model. Please do not continue to remove the deletion tag, instead, if you disagree with the deletion, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the page by clicking this link. Once there, select the button that says Click here to contest this speedy deletion.
  2. This will take you to the talk page, where you can make your case by explaining why the page does not meet Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion.

Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do. For further help about the deletion, you could contact the user who first placed the tag or a highly active user who is willingly to help with deletion. This message was left by a bot, so please do not contact the bot about the deletion. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:09, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Joan Robinson's Growth Model. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion and appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:31, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you remove a speedy deletion notice from a page you have created yourself, as you did at Joan Robinson's Growth Model, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:50, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reported to AIV edit

Hi Naresh.limbu, this is a notice to let you know that I have reported the issue of you removing speedy deletion templates to administrators. An administrator should assess the report in a short while, and they will take any appropriate actions. Please wait for an administrator before taking any further actions yourself. Thank you, - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:52, 8 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Kaldor's_Growth_Model and Kaldor's growth laws edit

Dear Naresh.limbu Hi. Ihope it is OK with you I have reverted your deletion and redirection of K's growth laws to K's growth model. I think they are conceptually distinct and although both could be covered under a long article on Kaldor's work on growth and development we don't have one yet. Advice and an offer of help edit

Dear Naresh.limbu - don't take any of the attacks on your contributions personally. I think you might need to add a few more refs and try to make yourself a bit more aware of guidelines. As a start I think the two article's you have started have titles that aren't so good.

I think

  • Kaldor's growth model
  • Robinson's growth model

with lower case might be better. Also adding categories etc as well as refs can get help as well as being useful. It might be good to write them as finished but short - rather than having blank sections.

I will see if I can add some things to help and particularly address concerns raised in the AFDs. Both articles could, I think, become useful to wikipedia and its readers with some more work.

Best wishes, (Msrasnw (talk) 21:48, 10 September 2011 (UTC))Reply

File source problem with File:3rd National Tea Day.jpg edit

Thank you for uploading File:3rd National Tea Day.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Non-free rationale for File:Mist Valley Tea Estate.png edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Mist Valley Tea Estate.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 00:38, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Are you around to talk about Nepali tea? edit

Hey Naresh.limbu, I'm planning on doing a cleanup of Nepali tea and merging Tea production in Nepal into it. It seems like back in 2011/12 that you were principle driver of the article, and a lot of the references are now 404s. If you're going to be around, I'd love it if you wanted to help me modernize the article. Just leave a note here -- I'm watching your talk page now. Hope you're well, and thanks for your contributions to Wikipedia! A Traintalk 07:40, 9 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
