Space Weather edit

A tag has been placed on Space Weather, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. space weather and Space Weather edit

When I looked superficially for "Space Weather", wiki inidicated that the topic page did not exist and defaulted to "edit" when I viewed the page. However, there is an existing topic "space weather" that should have been presented when I looked for "Space Weather" - go figure.

Request reason:

NW7US is my 'Handle' that uniquely represents me as an individual, and is considered my 'name' or identification as a person. I identify myself as 'NW7US' both on the radio, on social networking, and in the printed media. I am very well-known as 'NW7US'. I do have a website that I created after I had become well-known as 'NW7US', because it allows people to find me easily on the web. It is not the other way around. 'NW7US' is synonymous with Tomas David Hood. NW7US (talk) 05:19, 1 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

June 2017 edit

Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as 7th Signal Brigade (United States). You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 16:57, 23 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Project Arminianism edit

Hello To editor NW7US:. Just to let you know, that I re-activated the Wikipedia:WikiProject Arminianism, made it user-friendly, assessed a bunch of relevant articles to be improved, and made a new tasks list. I initially worked on wikipedia in 2019 to translate articles about Arminianism into French but had seen that each time, the article needed to be sourced at a minimum level, and that wikipedia rules were rarely respected. For instance, the last english articles that I sourced are : Adam Clarke and Roger Olson (which was even not mentioning Olson was Arminian)... (I only created for the moment 2 english articles : Remonstrant Confession and a biography of an unknown Swiss Arminian theologian Augustin Gretillat!) Beyond French language, I realized that the english language is the base of translation in all the 300 other wikipedia languages. If the english articles are of bad quality, there will be considerable effort and time spent by each translators to improve each articles in their languages, but if the effort is done upstream, on the english articles it can save a lot of time. Even if English is not my native language I feel I have this responsibility. If you know people motivated by this task, please invite them to participate to the improvement of articles dealing with Arminianism. Sincerely ---Telikalive (talk) 10:39, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

To editor NW7US:. In addition, I need urgently more votes on that proposal : Wikipedia_talk:Vital_articles/Level/4#Add_Arminianism, can you have a look please ? and less urgently, I need suggestions for the two arminianism templates that I created, here : Template talk:Arminianism#Template with more sub-sections---Telikalive (talk) 10:28, 23 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:NW7US 2002.png edit

The file File:NW7US 2002.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:00, 18 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Trying to get WikiProject Amateur Radio back on the air! edit

Hi, I'm Dr vulpes (💬📝) and I'm currently doing my best to resurrect the amateur radio WikiProject. A lot of the articles need some serious work and so I'm trying to organize an article improvement drive in October. If you're interested check out the link to the drive and the project page. Right now everything is in the planning stages, trying to find people interested, articles to focus on, etc. So if you know anyone who would like to help out feel free to invite them! If you no longer interested in this project that's a-ok just remove yourself from the list on the project page and I'll never badger you again. 73! Dr vulpes (💬📝) 00:08, 15 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
