A link to a blogsite dedicated to Nolan Miller costumes and sketches keeps getting removed because it is a "promotion." So why is it ok for fansite authors to link their fansites to Wikipedia. Isnt that a "promotion" as well? I am going to keep adding and re-adding and re-adding over and over again, so you might as well leave it alone.

Please help me with...

Linking to inofficial fansites generally isn't appropriate either. If you know of pages that contain such links, you're welcome to remove them or to point them out so others can remove them. Huon (talk) 20:16, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

No I'm not an annoying jerk like that. If someone wants to post their fanpage dedicated to a TV show, why should I remove it? I also find it odd that all those fanpage adds seems to have slipped through the cracks, but a page I am posting on that is legitimate with rare and worthwhile things on it keeps getting removed.

June 2016 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Nolan Miller. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. -- samtar talk or stalk 20:19, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

And by the way, this edit summary in which you call the editor undoing your edits (me) an "idiot", is what we call uncivil, and these type of comments may be considered personal attacks. Wikipedia is built on collaboration, so it's one of our core principles to interact with one another in a polite and respectful manner. I (and other editors) explained our reasoning for our reverts in both edit summaries and on talk pages, I know it can be frustrating to be challenged but you should be more careful about reacting until you have assessed all of the facts. Thank you.— TAnthonyTalk 23:00, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply

You must lead a very boring empty life. Is that all you do all day is block people's entries on here? How sad.

No real question there, nulling template. Also, the warning stopped you so that's something, right? -- samtar talk or stalk 21:30, 15 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
